Smooth Setup with Minor Hiccups

Getting started was pretty straightforward, and the onboarding guides helped speed things up. It took a bit of digging to understand some of the more advanced features, but the basics were up and running quickly.

Simplified social logins fast

We were stuck trying to handle multiple social logins and user management ourselves, which got messy fast. Auth0 made it way easier to integrate everything in one place and saved us a ton of time, though the pricing bumped up quicker than I expected as we scaled.

Worth the investment overall

The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but the time saved integrating secure authentication makes it worth it. For a small to medium team, the value you get in reliability and support really offsets the cost. It’s definitely paid for itself in reduced headaches and faster deployment.

Great social logins, tricky rules

The social login integrations are exactly what we needed to streamline our user onboarding, and setting them up was surprisingly straightforward. However, I found the rules engine a bit tricky to navigate at first, which slowed us down a little during customization.

Smooth team adoption overall

Our team of about 8 developers moved to Auth0 last year, and getting everyone up to speed was pretty smooth thanks to clear docs and straightforward integration. Collaboration improved since managing user roles became way easier for both devs and product managers.

Flexible and reliable auth

Tried Okta and Firebase Auth before settling on Auth0 because it handled complex user permissions way better for my app. The setup was mostly smooth, though I did hit a few quirks with custom rules that took some digging. Overall, it felt like the best balance between flexibility and ease of use for what I needed.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting started with Auth0 was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding process guided me through all the essentials without feeling overwhelming, and I had a basic implementation up and running within a couple of hours. There was a bit of a learning curve when diving into more advanced features, but the documentation helped a lot. Overall, the setup was straightforward enough to not slow me down, which I really appreciated.

Solid social login, docs need work

The social login feature works great and made setting up user authentication way easier than I expected. However, the documentation around rules could be clearer, I found myself digging through forums to figure out some of the more advanced use cases.

Smooth team adoption overall

Our team of 8 switched to Auth0 last year and getting everyone to actually use it was smoother than I expected. The only hiccup was some confusion around roles at first, but overall it really helped us collaborate on secure login flows without much fuss.
