Getting better with time

Started using Canva about 4 years ago and it’s come a long way since then. I really appreciate how the interface has gotten cleaner and the added templates make it easier to find what I need quickly. Sometimes the app can lag a bit when working on bigger projects, but overall it’s been super reliable for both work and personal stuff. Definitely a tool I keep coming back to whenever I need to whip up something fast without too much hassle.

Great for team collaboration

Our team of 8 quickly picked up Canva for creating presentations and social posts, which made collaboration way smoother. Getting everyone on board was easier than expected since the interface is pretty intuitive.

Useful but with hiccups

Our team of about 8 people started using Canva mainly for quick marketing materials and social posts. Getting everyone on board took a bit longer than expected because some prefer more traditional design tools and found Canva's interface a bit limiting. Collaboration is okay, but sometimes changes get lost or overwritten if multiple people are editing at once, which causes some frustration. Overall, it’s a handy tool for non-designers but not seamless enough for full department-wide adoption in my experience.

Quick and easy designs

Love how easy it is to whip up quick designs for socials, tho sometimes the free stuff feels a bit limited. Still, saves me a ton of time when I'm in a rush!

Quick and simple setup

Setup was super quick, had everything ready in about 10 minutes. The onboarding is simple and the learning curve felt pretty gentle, though I did get tripped up a bit on some of the advanced features at first.

Useful but not flawless

Our team of about 10 started using Canva mainly for quick social media posts and internal presentations. Getting everyone on board was a bit of a struggle since some prefer traditional tools and found Canva's interface a bit clunky at first. Collaboration works okay, but I’ve noticed occasional glitches when multiple people edit the same design. Overall, it’s a decent tool but not everyone in the department is totally sold on it yet.

Mixed feelings on setup

Getting started with Canva was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The initial signup and onboarding were quick and straightforward, and I had an account set up in minutes. However, diving into some of the more advanced features took longer than I expected because the learning curve wasn’t very intuitive. Overall, it wasn’t a nightmare, but I definitely spent more time figuring things out than I initially thought I would.

Simple and efficient design tool

I gave Canva a shot after trying Adobe Spark and Crello, and it just felt more intuitive for quick projects without drowning in options. The templates are solid and easy to tweak, which saved me a lot of time compared to the others.

Quick, polished presentations

I was struggling to create professional-looking presentations quickly for work, and Canva made the process way easier. The ready-made templates and drag-and-drop interface saved me hours, especially when I needed something polished last minute. It’s not perfect for super custom designs, but it handled my needs really well.

Good for quick, simple designs

I tried Canva after using Adobe Spark and Figma for quick designs. Canva’s interface is more beginner-friendly and has tons of templates, which is great, but I found it a bit limiting when trying to customize beyond the basics. Spark felt more intuitive for simple edits, and Figma gave me more control, so Canva landed somewhere in the middle for me.
