Solid platform with a learning curve

Our team of about 10 people started using Magento Commerce to handle our growing e-commerce needs, and getting everyone on board took a little time, mostly because of the platform’s complexity. Once the initial learning curve was managed, collaboration between developers and marketing improved since everything is centralized. The boss pushed for this switch after seeing issues with our old system, and honestly, it’s made tracking and updating products way smoother. The only downside is that some features can be confusing for newer team members at first, but overall it’s been a solid upgrade.

Flexible and powerful platform

Tried Shopify and BigCommerce before, but Magento Commerce gave us way more flexibility with custom features and scaling. It’s not the easiest to set up, but once it's running, the control over the store layout and integrations is unbeatable.

Flexible and powerful platform

Switched from Shopify to Magento Commerce because I needed more customization for our product catalog. Compared it to BigCommerce as well, but Magento's flexibility with integrations and control over the checkout process really stood out. It’s a bit more complex to set up, but once running, it handled our needs way better.

Solid and improving platform

Started using Magento Commerce about 6 years ago, and it’s definitely grown into a more robust platform since then. The updates have made managing products and integrations smoother, though sometimes the learning curve still feels a bit steep. Overall, it’s been reliable and continues to improve in ways that actually help day-to-day operations.

Overpriced and underdelivers

Magento Commerce is way too expensive for what it actually delivers. The pricing feels like it’s aimed at huge companies, but even then, the return on investment wasn’t clear for my business. Setup and maintenance cost way more than I expected and didn’t justify the features I got.

Smooth setup with minor learning curve

The onboarding was straightforward and the setup didn’t take long at all. There was a bit of a learning curve at first, but the documentation helped me get through it without too much hassle.

Solid for mid-size stores

Magento Commerce is actually pretty solid for running a mid-sized online store. The setup took a bit longer than I expected, but once everything was up, managing products and orders became way easier. Sometimes the interface feels a little clunky, but overall it’s reliable and has good features for what I need. Wish the support was a bit quicker tho.

Smooth team collaboration boost

Our team of eight switched to Magento Commerce last year, and while getting everyone comfortable with the platform took a few weeks, the collaboration on managing product catalogs and orders has definitely improved. Having a central system everyone trusts makes day-to-day work smoother, though some of the backend navigation can still be a bit tricky at times.
