Straightforward and reliable scanning
We tested Qualys alongside Tenable and Rapid7, and while all three have solid vulnerability scanning capabilities, Qualys stood out with its more intuitive interface and clearer reporting. Tenable felt a bit clunky and overwhelming at times, and Rapid7’s pricing didn't quite fit our budget. Qualys strikes a good balance between thoroughness and ease of use, especially for managing multiple assets across different environments. The cloud-based approach also made deployment much simpler compared to the others we've tried.

Effective for team collaboration
Our team of 8 started using Qualys last quarter after the boss insisted on trying it out for vulnerability scanning. Getting everyone on board was smoother than expected since the interface is pretty straightforward, though a couple people struggled with some of the reporting features at first. Overall, it's helped improve our collaboration on security issues and made tracking fixes easier.

Effective Scanning with Minor Dashboard Flaws
The vulnerability scanning feature in Qualys is exactly what we needed to keep our network secure. It finds issues quickly and gives clear insights, which really helps prioritize fixes. The dashboard is mostly intuitive, though sometimes it feels a bit cluttered and could be streamlined for easier navigation. Overall, it’s a solid tool that makes vulnerability management much less of a headache.

Worth the investment
Qualys might seem a bit pricey at first, but the thorough vulnerability scanning and easy-to-understand reports have saved us time and headaches. The return on investment is clear once you realize how much risk it helps avoid, making it well worth the cost for our security needs.

Smooth setup and onboarding
Getting Qualys up and running was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guided me through the initial steps without much hassle, and the setup didn’t take long at all. There was a bit of a learning curve with some of the features, but overall it was easy to get comfortable quickly.

Simplified vulnerability tracking
We were overwhelmed trying to keep track of vulnerabilities across multiple servers, and Qualys made it way easier to identify and prioritize the biggest risks quickly. It helped our security team focus on what really mattered without drowning in data.

Solid for team use
Our small team of six started using Qualys after the boss pushed for better vulnerability tracking. Getting everyone to actually use it was easier than expected, and it’s helped us catch issues before they became real problems. Sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky, but overall it’s worked well for our workflows.
