Solid security tool over time

Started using this about 6 years ago and it’s honestly gotten way better at spotting real issues without tons of false alarms. The updates keep things fresh and useful, plus the support team actually listens when I’ve had questions.

Faster scans, clearer reports

Tried Tenable and Qualys before landing on Rapid7, and what stood out was how quickly it scans and how clear the reports are. The interface feels more intuitive to me, which saved time on training the team. The only downside is occasional slowdowns during large scans, but otherwise it’s solid.

Clear vulnerability visibility

We were constantly missing vulnerabilities in our network scans, which left us exposed. Rapid7's detailed reporting and easy-to-use dashboard finally gave us clear visibility and helped us patch issues fast.

Simpler and Clearer Reports

Tried Tenable and Qualys before, but Rapid7 just felt way easier to set up and gave clearer reports without all the noise. The interface is more user-friendly, which made it simpler for my team to get on board quickly. Only downside is some of the integrations can be a bit clunky at times, but overall it's been solid for our needs.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting Rapid7 up and running was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding materials were clear, and I had the core setup done within a couple of hours without much hassle. It didn’t take long to get comfortable navigating the platform either.

Solid choice for vuln scanning

Tried Nessus and Qualys before, but Rapid7 felt way more intuitive for our team without sacrificing depth. The dashboard is cleaner and the alerts help us spot issues faster, though sometimes scans take longer than expected.

Worth the investment for teams

Rapid7 isn’t the cheapest option out there, but from my experience, it’s worth the investment. The insights and automation tools really help catch vulnerabilities early, which has saved us time and potential headaches down the road. For small to mid-sized teams, the pricing feels fair considering the level of detail and support you get. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a balance between cost and effective risk management.
