Worth the investment for scale
Auth0 definitely leans towards the pricier side, especially if your user base starts to grow quickly. That said, the time saved on managing authentication and the reliability it offers make it worthwhile in my experience. For smaller projects, it might feel like overkill, but for anything beyond that, it pays for itself by cutting down on headaches and development time. Overall, I feel like the cost matches the value provided, even if it’s not the cheapest option out there.

Worth the cost for teams
Auth0 is a bit pricey compared to some alternatives, but the time it saved us on managing user authentication made it worth the cost. For small teams looking to avoid building from scratch, it offers solid value and a good return on investment.

Simplified social login integration
Our app needed a way to handle social logins without building everything from scratch, and Auth0 made it way easier to integrate Google and Facebook auth. Setup was mostly smooth, tho docs could be clearer on some edge cases.

Better than Okta and Firebase
Tried Okta and Firebase Auth before settling on Auth0. While Okta felt too complex for our small team and Firebase lacked some flexibility, Auth0 hit the sweet spot with easy setup and decent customization options. The docs could be clearer though, but overall it just worked better for our app’s needs.

Easy login setup
Auth0 makes setting up user logins way easier than I expected, and it just works most of the time. Had a couple hiccups with customization but overall solid.

Solid and improving over time
Started using this about five years ago, and it’s definitely improved in stability and features since then. The integrations have gotten smoother, though sometimes the pricing can be a bit confusing.

Flexible and reliable auth solution
Tried Firebase Auth and Okta before settling on Auth0. Auth0 felt way more flexible and easier to integrate with our custom backend, though the pricing can get a bit steep as you scale. The docs aren’t perfect but once you get past that, it’s solid for managing multiple social logins and user roles without too much hassle.

Solid tool for team sign-ins
Our team of about 8 started using Auth0 for managing user logins and it really smoothed out our workflow. Getting everyone on board took a bit of time since some folks were used to the old system, but once we got past that, collaboration improved a lot. The integration with our existing tools was straightforward, though sometimes the docs could be clearer.

Reliable and steadily improving
Started using Auth0 about 4 years ago, and I've seen it improve a lot in terms of stability and feature set. The interface got cleaner and some new integrations really helped simplify our login flows. Only gripe is that occasionally the docs can be a bit confusing when they update stuff.

Smooth onboarding experience
Getting started with Auth0 was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guides were clear enough that I had a basic setup running in under an hour, which saved a lot of headache compared to other identity platforms I've tried. There’s a bit of a learning curve when you dive into customizing rules and flows, but the docs and community helped fill in the gaps quickly. Overall, it felt like a solid balance between easy initial setup and more advanced features once you dig deeper.
