Great for team authentication

Our team of about 8 developers started using Auth0 a few months ago to handle authentication across multiple projects. Getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected since the integration was straightforward and the documentation clear, which really helped with collaboration when we ran into issues. The security features gave our boss confidence to push this change, and now the whole department is moving toward it for new apps. My only gripe is that some of the advanced customization options can be a bit tricky without digging into the docs, but overall it’s made managing user access way easier.

Social Logins Shine

The social login integrations saved us so much time, and they just worked right out of the box. On the other hand, setting up custom rules was a bit tricky at first, and the documentation could be clearer in that area. Overall, it’s been a solid solution for managing user authentication.

Good value for the price

Auth0 feels a bit pricey compared to some alternatives, but the time saved on setup and security definitely justifies the cost for our team. The return on investment shows up quickly when you don’t have to worry about authentication headaches.

Overpriced and Underwhelming

The pricing is way too steep for what you actually get. For a small project, the costs quickly add up without delivering any standout features that justify the price. Honestly, it felt like I was paying more for the name than the service itself.

Solid choice for flexibility

Tried Okta and Firebase Auth before settling on Auth0. Honestly, Auth0's flexibility with different identity providers and decent docs made setup smoother, even if the pricing felt a bit steep at times. Some of the UI feels a little clunky, but overall it just worked better for our mixed app environment.

Reliable Auth Service Over Time

Started using Auth0 about five years ago, and it’s been a solid choice for managing user authentication throughout. Over time, the platform has definitely improved, especially with the dashboard becoming more intuitive and the documentation getting clearer. I appreciate how they keep adding features that make integration with different frameworks easier without too much hassle. Occasionally, I’ve run into minor performance hiccups during peak times, but overall, it’s been reliable for my needs.

Great social login, pricey scaling

The social login integrations made setting up user authentication super smooth, which saved us a lot of time. However, the pricing model got a bit confusing as we scaled up our user base.

Simplified multi-app auth

Managing user authentication across multiple apps was a headache, but Auth0 made it straightforward with its seamless integration and solid documentation. It saved us a ton of time setting up secure login flows without building from scratch.

Solid auth, minor hiccups

Handles login and auth stuff without much hassle, though sometimes the setup docs can be a bit confusing. Overall, a solid pick for keeping things secure.

More hassle than help

Honestly, I thought Auth0 would be way smoother than it turned out. Setup was kinda confusing and their docs weren’t as clear as I hoped, which slowed me down a lot. The thing kept acting weird with token refreshes and I spent more time troubleshooting than actually building stuff. Not the worst, but definitely way more hassle than it should be.
