Good recording, clunky annotations

The screen recording feature works great for quick demos, but the annotation tools feel kinda clunky and laggy sometimes. Wish those were smoother to use.

Great for quick recordings

The screen recording feature is exactly what I needed for quick tutorials, and the ability to instantly share links saves so much time. That said, I wish the annotation tools were a bit more intuitive during recordings, as they can be a little clunky to use on the fly.

Great for quick team feedback

Our team of about 15 started using CloudApp a few months ago, mostly for quick screen recordings and sharing visual feedback. Getting everyone to actually use it wasn’t too hard since it clearly sped up how we communicate issues and ideas. It’s helped cut down on long email threads, though occasionally the upload speed can be a bit slow.

Saved us tons of time

Our team was constantly losing time trying to explain bugs and design issues through emails, which was a total headache. CloudApp made it super easy to just record a quick video or take annotated screenshots, so everyone got exactly what I meant without going back and forth. It’s saved us hours each week, though sometimes the upload speed can be a bit slow.

Quick and simple setup

Setup was super easy and I had it running in minutes. The onboarding was straightforward, though I wish the initial tutorials were a bit more detailed.

Saved me tons of time

I kept wasting time emailing screenshots back and forth for feedback until CloudApp made it super easy to record and share quick videos. Now my team actually gets what I mean without tons of confusion or follow-up.

Good value despite the cost

CloudApp's pricing felt a bit steep at first, especially for a small team like ours. But honestly, the time saved sharing quick screenshots and videos makes it worth every penny. The ROI is clear when you consider how much faster communication flows, which has helped us avoid back-and-forth emails. If you’re looking for something that just works without a steep learning curve, it’s a solid investment, even if the price made me double-check my budget once or twice.

Super handy but slow uploads

Love how easy it is to grab quick screenshots and vids, but sometimes the upload speed drags a bit. Still worth it for fast sharing tho!

Does the job, a bit slow

CloudApp works fine for quick screenshots and sharing, but sometimes the uploads take longer than I'd like. The interface is simple enough, tho I wish it had more editing options built-in. Meh, gets the job done but nothing special.

Worth the investment

The pricing isn’t the cheapest out there, but for what CloudApp offers, it feels like a solid investment. The ability to quickly capture and share screenshots and videos has saved me a lot of back-and-forth emails, which definitely makes up for the cost in productivity. For small teams, it provides great value since it streamlines communication a lot, though bigger teams might find it a bit pricey. Overall, I’d say it pays for itself if you use it regularly.
