Consistently Reliable and Improving
Started using Crazy Egg about five years ago, and it’s honestly gotten smoother and more intuitive over time. The heatmaps are still my go-to for understanding user behavior, and the new features they've added recently have made digging into data way easier without feeling overwhelmed.

Great tool for team insights
Our team of six started using Crazy Egg a few months ago after the boss pushed for better insight into user behavior on our site. Getting everyone on board was easier than I expected since the interface is pretty straightforward, and it actually sparked some good conversations during our weekly meetings about improving UX. The heatmaps helped us spot some blindspots we hadn’t noticed before, so it’s been a real team effort to tweak things based on those insights. The only downside is that sometimes the data takes a bit longer to update than I’d like.

Reliable and improving tool
Been with them for about 4 years and it’s come a long way since I first started. The heatmaps are still solid, and some updates have made the interface much easier to navigate, though sometimes it feels a bit slow loading data.

Helpful for team insights
Our team of six started using Crazy Egg a few months ago to get better insights on where users click on our site. Getting everyone on board was actually smoother than I expected since the interface is pretty straightforward and it ties into our existing workflow easily. The marketing and design folks especially like being able to visually see heatmaps during our weekly syncs, which has helped spark more collaborative ideas. The only downside is sometimes the data takes a bit longer to refresh than we’d like, but overall it's been a solid addition.

Better heatmaps, simpler setup
I tried Hotjar and FullStory before landing on Crazy Egg, and honestly, Crazy Egg’s heatmaps felt easier to interpret and set up. The clickable areas report gave me better insights than Hotjar’s, and for the price, it felt like a solid middle ground without overcomplicating things. Only downside is the occasional lag when loading big reports, but overall it’s been reliable for what I need.

Quick and painless setup
Setting up Crazy Egg was surprisingly quick—I had the tracking code installed and running in about 15 minutes without any headaches. The onboarding was straightforward with clear instructions that didn’t overwhelm me, which made the whole process feel smooth. I didn’t need to dig through a ton of docs to get started, and the learning curve felt gentle enough that I could focus on using the tool rather than figuring it out. Overall, it just worked as expected from the get-go.

Steady Improvements Over Time
Started using this about four years ago, and I’ve noticed the tool has steadily improved, especially in how intuitive the heatmaps have become. The updates haven’t been overwhelming, and the core features still do exactly what I need without unnecessary fluff. It’s helped me identify key problem areas on my sites that I wouldn’t have caught otherwise.

Worth the investment
Crazy Egg costs a bit more than some tools, but the insights I get about user behavior have definitely helped boost my conversions, so it’s money well spent in my book.

Heatmaps that actually work
Crazy Egg actually nailed it with their heatmaps. Took a bit to figure out some settings, but once it clicked, I got way better insights on what people were actually clicking. Saved me a bunch of guesswork for sure.

Clearer heatmaps, easier use
Tried Hotjar and Mouseflow before, but Crazy Egg’s heatmaps are way clearer and the user interface is much easier to navigate. Switched because I wanted something that gave quick insights without a steep learning curve, and Crazy Egg delivered exactly that.
