Used to be better
Started using this over 7 years ago and honestly, it feels like the platform has gotten more complicated without improving core features. The interface is cluttered now and the pricing changes have been frustrating as a long-time user.

Great PRs, annoying notifications
The pull request interface makes code reviews super smooth and easy to follow. Wish the notifications were a bit less spammy tho, sometimes it's hard to keep track.

Streamlined code collaboration
Our team was drowning in messy code conflicts during collaboration, but GitHub’s pull request system made reviewing and merging way smoother. It didn't eliminate all hiccups, but it definitely saved us a ton of time and confusion.

Great for collaboration
Love how easy it is to collaborate with others and keep track of all my projects. Sometimes the interface feels a bit cluttered though.

Good tools, pricey plans
GitHub offers solid tools, but the pricing can feel steep if you’re not using all the features. For small projects, it’s a bit much, though the seamless collaboration and integrations do offer decent ROI. Overall, it’s okay value but I wish there were more flexible plans for occasional users.

Solid choice for collaboration
Tried GitLab and Bitbucket before, but GitHub’s interface just feels more intuitive and the community support is way stronger. The pull request system here just clicks better for how my team works.

Best for team collaboration
Tried GitLab and Bitbucket before, but GitHub’s interface felt more intuitive and the community support is unmatched. The integration with other tools just makes collaboration smoother for our team.

Great for team collaboration
Our team of about 10 developers started using GitHub last year after leadership pushed for better version control. Getting everyone up to speed was a bit rough at first since some folks weren’t familiar with branching and pull requests, but once the basics clicked, collaboration improved noticeably. We can review each other’s code easily and track changes without stepping on toes, which has helped cut down on errors. Overall, it’s made coordinating on features smoother, though sometimes the interface feels a little clunky when managing multiple repositories.

Cluttered and frustrating interface
Tried GitLab and Bitbucket before this, and honestly, GitHub felt way more cluttered and less intuitive for basic version control. The interface sometimes gets in the way rather than helping, especially when trying to manage pull requests quickly. GitLab's integrated CI/CD pipelines and Bitbucket's simpler project organization worked better for my small team needs. I'd recommend looking at those first before committing to GitHub if you want a smoother, less frustrating experience.

Solid platform for projects
GitHub's been super handy for managing my projects and collaborating with others. The interface is clean enough that I don't get lost, even when juggling multiple repos. Sometimes the notifications can get kinda overwhelming, but overall it’s solid and hasn’t let me down yet. Oh, and love that it integrates well with other tools I use daily.
