Worth the investment
GitLab’s pricing felt a bit steep at first, but after using it for a few months, it really pays for itself with how much time we save on code reviews and CI/CD. The tools are solid, and having everything in one place means fewer headaches juggling different services. For our size, it’s definitely great value and the ROI shows in smoother project deliveries and fewer integration issues.

Helped with merge conflicts
Our team was drowning in merge conflicts and messy code reviews until we switched to GitLab, which helped centralize everything in one place and made tracking changes easier. That said, the interface can be confusing and slow at times, and the CI/CD setup didn't work smoothly with some custom scripts we rely on, so we still had to find workarounds.

CI speedup, but buggy UI
Our team was drowning in merge conflicts and slow CI builds, and GitLab seemed like it could help with everything in one place. It did speed up our pipeline somewhat, but the interface kept freezing on larger repos and the merge request reviews ended up more confusing, not less.

All-in-one dev lifesaver
Honestly, GitLab has made managing my projects way less stressful. The interface is clean and I love how everything from code to CI/CD is all in one place. Definitely saved me a ton of time on setup and collaboration.

Smooth all-in-one tool
Love how everything’s in one place and the CI/CD stuff actually just works without much hassle. Saved me tons of time juggling projects.

Great CI/CD and Collaboration
The CI/CD pipelines have saved me so much time with automation, and the merge request reviews make collaboration really smooth. Wish the issue tracking was a bit more intuitive though.

Reliable and improving constantly
Started using GitLab about five years ago when we were searching for an all-in-one tool to manage our projects. Over time, the platform has steadily improved, especially with their CI/CD pipelines becoming much more reliable and easier to configure. The interface has gotten cleaner, and features like issue tracking and code review feel more polished now. Occasionally, it still feels a bit overwhelming with all the options, but overall it’s been a solid tool that’s only gotten better with use.

Smooth and straightforward setup
Getting GitLab up and running was surprisingly quick, took me maybe an hour. The onboarding materials helped, though some parts felt a bit overwhelming at first but nothing too crazy.

Reliable and Improving Constantly
Been with them since 2017 and honestly, GitLab just keeps getting better. The CI/CD pipelines have saved me hours every week, and the interface feels more intuitive now than it did a few years ago. Occasionally the UI can be a bit slow on bigger projects, but overall it’s been a solid tool for managing our codebase.

Reliable and improving steadily
After about five years with GitLab, I can honestly say it just keeps getting better. The platform started off solid for basic version control, but over time their CI/CD pipelines and project management tools have become indispensable for my workflows. What really stands out is how responsive they’ve been to community feedback, constantly adding features without compromising the core stability. It’s become a one-stop shop for almost everything I need to manage code and collaborate with my team.
