Solid choice for web analytics

Switched from Mixpanel to Google Analytics mainly because GA felt more intuitive for tracking overall web traffic and had better integration with other Google products we use daily. I also gave Adobe Analytics a try, but it was a bit overwhelming and pricey for our small team. Google Analytics does a solid job breaking down where visitors come from and what they do on the site, though sometimes the interface can be a bit cluttered and took me a little while to get used to all the options. Overall, it's reliable for what we need without the extra complexity or cost.

Solid for tracking traffic

Google Analytics is super handy for checking where my site traffic comes from, though it can be a bit overwhelming at first. Once you get the hang of it, it really helps figure out what's working and what’s not.

Best balance of power and ease

I started out using Matomo for web analytics because I wanted something open-source, but it felt clunky and less intuitive. Then I tried Adobe Analytics, which was powerful but overkill for my small business and super expensive. Google Analytics hit the sweet spot with a clean interface, deep insights, and the fact that it integrates seamlessly with other Google products I already use. It's reliable, easy to set up, and gives me exactly the data I need without extra fluff.

Solid choice for website analytics

I gave Mixpanel and Adobe Analytics a try before settling on Google Analytics, mainly because GA offers a more straightforward setup and a broader range of integrations with other tools we use. While Mixpanel felt more focused on user behavior and event tracking, I found GA's reporting dashboard easier to navigate and more comprehensive for general website metrics. Adobe Analytics was powerful but overkill for our needs and way more expensive, so GA struck a nice balance between features and cost. Overall, it's reliable, and the free version is generous enough for most small to mid-size sites, though the interface can sometimes feel cluttered.

Reliable and improving tool

Started using Google Analytics over 7 years ago, and it just keeps getting better. The interface has improved a lot, making it easier to dig into user behavior without feeling overwhelmed. I've found the new insights and real-time reports especially helpful for tracking trends quickly.

Super easy web tracking

Honestly, Google Analytics makes tracking website traffic super easy and way less confusing than I expected. I like how I can quickly see where my visitors are coming from and what pages they actually care about. Definitely saved me a bunch of time trying to figure out what’s working.

Real-time data lagging badly

The real-time reporting feature felt like a cool idea, but in practice, it lagged and often showed data that was minutes behind, which was frustrating when trying to monitor live campaigns. On top of that, the user interface is cluttered and confusing, making it tough to find the insights I actually care about without spending a lot of time digging around. Honestly, I expected way better usability given how popular this tool is.

Saved Time Tracking Campaigns

Our team was drowning in confusing website traffic data, but Google Analytics helped us pinpoint which campaigns actually drove sales, saving us time and ad spend.

Solid choice for analytics

Tried Mixpanel and Adobe Analytics before settling on Google Analytics because it’s way easier to set up and the free version covers most of what I actually need. The interface can feel a bit cluttered sometimes, but the level of detail and integration with other Google services beats the others for the price. Wish the real-time reports were a bit faster though.

Great for team tracking

Our team of about 8 started using Google Analytics last year to track website traffic and user behavior. Getting everyone on board was a bit slow at first since not everyone is super tech-savvy, but once we all figured out the basics, collaboration improved a lot.
