Simple and efficient video tool
Switched from Vidyard to Loom mostly because Loom's interface felt way simpler and the video quality was just as good. I also tried Soapbox, but found Loom's editing tools more intuitive, which saved me a lot of time when putting together quick demos. The only downside is sometimes the upload speed can be slow on bigger files.

Gets better with time
Started using Loom about three years ago, and it’s definitely improved a lot since then. The recordings are smoother now, and the interface feels much more intuitive, which makes sharing quick videos way easier.

Smooth and hassle-free sharing
Tried both Vidyard and Screencastify before, but Loom just felt way smoother for quick screen shares. The video quality is solid and sharing links instantly without any fuss really helped me stay productive. Definitely sticking with Loom since it saves me time and hassle compared to the others.

Clearer feedback, less hassle
Trying to explain complex feedback over email was always a headache until Loom came into the picture. Being able to quickly record my screen with voice and share it cut down back-and-forth emails significantly, especially when reviewing design drafts with my remote team. It made communication smoother and saved us a ton of time.

Quick and easy setup
Getting started with Loom was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding walked me through the essentials without overwhelming me, and I had the extension installed and recording in just a few minutes. There was a slight learning curve figuring out the best way to organize my videos, but overall the setup process was straightforward and didn’t waste much time. Definitely felt like a quick win.

Smooth Screen Recording & Sharing
The screen recording feature is exactly what we needed for quick team updates, and the video sharing link makes collaboration so much smoother. I also appreciate how easy it is to trim the videos right within the app—saved me a lot of time editing.

Saved Hours Explaining Bugs
I was losing so much time explaining bugs over email, but recording quick Loom videos let me show exactly what was happening. It made debugging so much faster and saved our team hours each week.

Fast and painless setup
Getting Loom up and running was honestly super smooth — I had it installed and ready to record in less than 10 minutes. The onboarding was straightforward, with clear prompts that didn’t assume you already knew the ins and outs. It didn’t feel overwhelming at all, even for someone who’s not super tech-savvy. My only minor gripe is that the video quality settings weren’t immediately obvious, but that was easy to find after poking around a bit.

Quick and easy setup
Getting Loom up and running was surprisingly quick — I had it installed and was recording videos within about 10 minutes. The onboarding flow is straightforward with clear prompts, which made the whole process feel really smooth. I didn’t have to dig through endless tutorials, though I did stumble a bit figuring out some of the editing features at first. Overall, the learning curve was gentle enough that I felt comfortable sharing videos with my team almost immediately.

Great for quick team updates
Our team of about 15 started using Loom mainly to speed up feedback loops without endless back-and-forth emails. At first, getting everyone comfortable recording videos was a bit of a hurdle, but once a few key members took the lead, the rest followed pretty quickly. It's been really helpful for sharing detailed explanations and keeping everyone on the same page, especially for remote colleagues. That said, sometimes the videos get a bit long, and it can be tough to stay focused on the main points.
