Quick and easy setup

Getting Loom up and running was surprisingly quick—I had it installed and ready to go in under 10 minutes. The onboarding was straightforward, and I didn’t have to dig through tons of docs to figure things out. Only thing is, sometimes the video quality settings aren't super obvious at first.

Clear updates made easy

I was struggling to explain complex project updates to clients without lengthy emails, but Loom made it easy to quickly record and share clear walkthroughs that saved tons of time and confusion.

Worth every penny for teams

Honestly, Loom’s pricing felt a bit steep at first, but after using it daily for client updates and quick project walkthroughs, it’s totally worth it. It saves me so much time typing out explanations or scheduling calls, which adds up to a great ROI for my small team. The free version is nice for casual use, but the paid plan unlocks features that really pay for themselves if you rely on video communication often. I do wish the storage limits were a little higher though, but overall great value for what I get.

Great for quick screen recordings

The screen recording feature makes it super easy to explain things visually, which has saved me a ton of time. I also like how simple it is to share videos, but I wish the video editing tools were a bit more advanced.

Simple and reliable screen recording

Switched from Vidyard and Screencast-O-Matic, and honestly Loom just feels way smoother. The interface is super straightforward, and I love how easy it is to share videos without messing around with links or downloads. Only gripe is sometimes the recording lags a bit on longer videos, but nothing deal-breaking for me.

Good recording, weak editing

The screen recording feature is easy to use and captures video clearly, which I appreciated. However, the video editing tools are really basic and sometimes glitchy, making it frustrating to trim clips smoothly or add annotations without issues.

Helpful for quick updates

Our team of about 12 started using Loom mostly for quick updates and feedback. Getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected, though a couple folks took a bit longer to feel comfortable recording themselves. Overall, it’s made collaboration easier since we can share explanations without long email chains or meetings.

Really handy for quick vids

Loom's been super handy for quickly sharing stuff with my team without jumping on calls. The video quality is solid and the interface is easy enough to figure out, even for someone who’s not super techy like me. Sometimes it glitches a bit when uploading longer vids, but overall it’s saved me a ton of time. Definitely gonna keep using it for quick walkthroughs and feedback.

Still my go-to video tool

Started using Loom about 3 years ago and it’s honestly been a game changer for how I communicate at work. Over time, the interface has gotten smoother and the video quality keeps improving, which makes those quick walkthroughs way easier to follow. The one thing that bugs me sometimes is the occasional lag when uploading really long videos, but it’s never a dealbreaker. Overall, it just keeps getting better and fits perfectly into my workflow now.
