Worth the investment

Helped with task tracking

Our team was drowning in missed deadlines and unclear task ownership, and Monday.com helped us get a clear overview of who was doing what and when. It was great for tracking simple projects and assigning tasks easily, which definitely cut down some confusion. But it didn’t fully solve the problem because the interface felt cluttered, and customizing workflows was more complicated than expected, so we still struggled with complex projects.

Better team tracking overall

Our team of 12 started using Monday.com about six months ago after the boss insisted we try it to improve project tracking. Getting everyone on board was a bit of a struggle at first, especially since a few people preferred sticking to email and spreadsheets. But once the initial confusion passed, collaboration definitely got smoother—it's easier to see who's doing what and deadlines are clearer. The only hiccup is that some of the automations can be buggy or confusing to set up, which caused a couple of delays.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting started with Monday.com was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding tutorials walked me through the basics clearly, and I had a few projects up and running within a couple of hours. The interface is intuitive enough that the learning curve wasn’t steep, though some of the more advanced automations took a bit of trial and error. Overall, setup was straightforward and felt like a good investment of time.

Finally organized our workflow

Better for managing multiple projects

Switched from Trello and Asana after struggling with tracking multiple projects at once. Monday.com gave me a clearer overview with its visual boards and automation features, which honestly saved me a lot of time. The only thing is sometimes the UI feels a bit cluttered when managing really complex projects.

Great for team collaboration

Glitchy timeline & flaky automation

The timeline view is confusing and constantly glitches, making it frustrating to track tasks over time. Also, the automation feature that’s supposed to save time ended up creating more headaches with unexpected errors and no clear fixes.

Steady improvements over time

Started using Monday.com about three years ago, and it’s definitely come a long way since then. The interface feels smoother and some of the newer integrations have made managing projects much easier. Overall, it’s a solid tool that keeps improving without making me relearn everything.
