Solid and improving over time
Started using Power BI about 5 years ago, and it's definitely gotten more user-friendly and powerful over time. The updates regularly add useful features without making things confusing, though sometimes the interface can feel a bit clunky when handling really large datasets. Overall, it’s been a solid tool for my reporting needs and keeps improving in ways that actually matter.

Great Microsoft integration, minor hiccups
I switched from Tableau to Power BI mainly because of how well it integrates with other Microsoft products we already use, which saved a lot of time in data prep. Compared to Looker, Power BI felt more intuitive for building reports quickly, though the interface can be a bit clunky at times. The ability to create custom visuals and the solid community support really made a difference for our team. Still, sometimes it feels like updates introduce bugs unexpectedly, which can be frustrating.

Great for team insights
Our team of about 8 people started using Power BI a few months ago to get better insights from our sales data. Getting everyone on board was a bit tricky at first since some folks aren’t super techy, but once we had a couple of champions showing how easy it can be, adoption picked up quickly. The real win has been in collaboration—sharing dashboards and reports has made meetings way more productive, and we can all stay aligned without endless email threads. Only gripe is that it sometimes takes a while to refresh really big datasets, which can be frustrating during crunch times.

Great for team collaboration
Our team of about 10 jumped into Power BI last year, and it really helped streamline how we share data insights. Getting everyone on board was a bit slow at first since not everyone was familiar with it, but after a few training sessions it became a core part of our workflow. Collaboration improved because we could all see and update reports in real time, which saved a lot of back-and-forth emails.

Good integration, but slow sometimes
Tried Tableau and Looker before, but stuck with Power BI mainly because it integrates well with our existing Microsoft setup. The learning curve felt steeper compared to Tableau, and sometimes it gets sluggish with large datasets.

Great value and integration
Switched from Tableau and gave Looker a try, but Power BI felt more intuitive for quick data modeling and integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft tools we already use. The pricing also made it easier to roll out across the team without breaking the bank.

Great for Excel Users
Switched from Tableau and gave Looker a shot, but Power BI won me over with its tight integration with Excel and overall affordability. The learning curve was a bit steep at first, but once you get the hang of it, the customization options really shine.

Better fit for quick reports
Switched from Tableau and gave Looker a shot, but Power BI felt way more intuitive for quick report building without diving too deep into technical stuff. It’s not perfect though—sometimes the refresh times drag a bit, but overall it gets the job done well for the price.

Great visuals, slow refresh
The data visualization options are exactly what I needed to make my reports clearer and more engaging. The integration with Excel is pretty smooth, but sometimes the refresh can be slow which gets annoying.

Easy and effective data tool
Power BI’s been surprisingly handy for digging through data without needing to be a full-on data nerd. The drag-and-drop visuals make it easy to whip up reports fast, which saves me a ton of time. Sometimes it can be a bit clunky or slow when the datasets get large, but overall it’s solid and does exactly what I need. Definitely recommend if you wanna look smart with your data without the headache.
