Solid value for online stores
The pricing for PrestaShop feels fair considering the features you get, especially if you’re running a small to mid-sized store. There are some add-ons that can get pricey, but overall it’s been a solid investment that’s helped me see a clear return without breaking the bank. It’s definitely not the cheapest option out there, but the flexibility and control over the store make it worth the cost in my experience. For what I’ve gotten out of it, the value for money is strong.

Solid but needs polish
Started using PrestaShop around 5 years ago, and while it’s improved in some areas, it still feels a bit clunky at times. The community has gotten bigger and there are more modules now, which helps, but I’ve run into compatibility issues after updates more than once. For a free platform, it does a decent job, but the backend can get confusing when you're managing a larger catalog. Overall, it’s solid, just wish it was a bit more user-friendly and less glitchy over time.

Solved inventory chaos
Managing multiple product variants was a nightmare for us, especially with inventory tracking across different warehouses. PrestaShop’s built-in stock management tools made syncing everything so much easier, and the ability to customize product attributes without extra plugins really saved us time. We can finally keep accurate counts without manually updating spreadsheets every day. It’s not perfect, but it fixed a headache that had been slowing down our whole operation.

Overpriced for value
Honestly, the costs add up quickly with all the add-ons you need, and I didn’t see the return I hoped for given the price. It feels overpriced for what you actually get out of it.

Flexible and Customizable Platform
Tried Shopify and WooCommerce before settling on PrestaShop because it gave me more control over customization without needing to upgrade constantly. The community support is solid, though sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky compared to others.

Good catalog, clunky checkout
The product catalog management in PrestaShop is actually quite flexible and lets me organize products in a way that makes sense for my store. However, the checkout process feels a bit clunky and outdated, which has caused some confusion for customers. Also, setting up payment gateways wasn’t as straightforward as I hoped, required digging through documentation more than expected. Overall, it gets the job done but there's room for improvement in usability.

Smooth setup, manageable learning curve
Getting PrestaShop up and running was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guides were clear enough that I had a basic store live within a couple of hours, though it took a bit longer to customize everything to my liking. Overall, not too steep of a learning curve for the features I needed.

Solid growth over time
Started with PrestaShop about six years ago, and it's definitely come a long way since then. The platform feels more stable and user-friendly now, and I've appreciated the steady improvements without losing the flexibility I originally liked. Setting up new features has become smoother over time, which keeps things fresh without too much hassle.

Smooth setup with minor bumps
Getting PrestaShop up and running was smoother than I expected. The onboarding guided me well, and while there was a bit of a learning curve figuring out some of the backend settings, I had a decent store setup in a few hours. Definitely easy enough for someone not super technical like me.

Helped with inventory tracking
Our store was struggling with managing inventory across multiple warehouses, which was causing frequent stock errors and unhappy customers. PrestaShop’s multi-store and warehouse features helped us better track stock levels and reduce overselling, making order fulfillment smoother. That said, the interface for these features isn’t very intuitive and required a lot of trial and error to get it right.
