Great for big data
Tried Tableau and Power BI before, but Sisense felt way smoother when handling large datasets without lag. The customization options were a bit tricky at first, but once I got the hang of it, it really saved me time on reporting.

Smooth setup, minor learning curve
Setup was surprisingly smooth and the onboarding materials helped a lot, though it took me a bit longer than expected to get the hang of some features. Overall, had it mostly up and running within a couple hours.

Smooth setup, slight learning curve
The onboarding process was straightforward and the setup didn’t take long at all. It was easy to pick up the basics quickly, though some advanced features did have a bit of a learning curve.

Great Data Modeling, Limited Dashboards
The data modeling feature in Sisense really helped simplify some complex datasets for my team, making analysis much smoother. However, I found the dashboard customization a bit limited compared to other tools I've tried.

Setup was unnecessarily difficult
Getting Sisense up and running was way more frustrating than I expected. The onboarding felt rushed and left me confused about some key steps, so it took a lot longer to figure things out than it should have. The setup process wasn’t very intuitive, and the documentation was kinda all over the place, which made the learning curve steeper than necessary. Definitely not something you can just spin up in a day without some headaches.

Steady improvement over years
Started using this about 5 years ago and it’s gotten noticeably smoother and faster over time. Some quirks still pop up, but overall it’s been reliable for what we need.

Worth the investment overall
Sisense is definitely on the higher end when it comes to pricing, but in my experience, the insights it delivers make it worth the cost. For smaller teams, it might feel a bit steep, but the return on investment kicks in once you start uncovering trends that directly impact your decisions. The customization options and data handling capabilities save us a lot of time, which translates into real value. Overall, it pays for itself if you’re using it actively rather than just as a basic dashboard tool.

Steady improvements over time
Started using Sisense about five years ago, and it's definitely improved in terms of speed and ease of use. The platform feels more stable now, and new features have made my daily reports less of a headache.

Better for complex data
I initially tried Tableau and Power BI but switched to Sisense because it handled our complex data sets way smoother and the dashboard customization felt more intuitive. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, the performance is solid and it hasn’t crashed on me yet, which I can’t say for some other tools I used. Wish the mobile app was a bit better, though.

Solid dashboards, minor speed hiccups
Sisense is actually pretty solid for piecing together dashboards, and I like how it handles data from different places without too much hassle. Took me a bit to get used to the interface but once I got the hang of it, things moved smooth. Wish it was a bit faster sometimes tho.
