Does the job okay

Decent for scanning stuff but sometimes feels a bit clunky and slow. Gets the job done when you need it though.

Solid vuln scanner, worth it

Tenable’s been pretty solid for scanning vulnerabilities on my network. It caught some stuff I didn’t even know was there, which was kinda reassuring. The interface took me a bit to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, it’s been smooth sailing. Only thing is sometimes the reports feel a bit cluttered, but otherwise not bad at all.

Setup Was Frustratingly Slow

The onboarding was confusing and the setup took way longer than expected. There wasn’t much guidance, so the learning curve felt steeper than it needed to be.

Good coverage, clunky UI

Tried Qualys and Rapid7 before, and while Tenable has solid vulnerability coverage, its interface feels clunky and less intuitive. It’s reliable but didn’t offer enough ease of use to keep me fully on board.

Great for team collaboration

Our team of 8 adopted Tenable last year to improve vulnerability management, and after a bit of back and forth, everyone got the hang of it. Collaboration's smoother now since we can assign and track issues easily, though the initial setup felt a bit clunky.

Good value for security

The price felt a bit steep at first, but the insights we've gained have definitely made it worth the cost. For what we get, the return on investment is solid, especially for teams serious about security.

Worth the investment

The pricing felt a bit steep at first, but after a few months I realized it really pays for itself given how much it streamlines vulnerability management. For a mid-sized team, it’s definitely great value, especially considering the reduction in manual work and improved security visibility.

Solid and easy to use

Tenable’s been pretty solid for keeping track of vulnerabilities. I was surprised by how user-friendly the dashboard is — didn’t expect it to be that smooth. It catches most stuff I’m worried about without too much hassle, though sometimes the scans take longer than I’d like. Overall, definitely helpful for staying on top of security without a ton of headaches.

Effective scanning with solid reports

The vulnerability scanning feature is exactly what we needed to keep our network secure, and it catches issues that other tools miss. I also like the reporting options—they're clear and customizable, which makes sharing results with the team simple. The only downside is that the user interface can be a bit clunky at times.

Strong vulnerability management

The Vulnerability Management feature is exactly what we needed to keep track of potential threats across our network, and it’s really straightforward to set up scans on different assets. I also appreciate the detailed reporting options—they make it easy to understand where we stand and communicate findings to the team. That said, the dashboard could be a bit more user-friendly; sometimes it feels cluttered and takes a moment to find the info I want.
