Solid vuln scanner overall

Tenable’s tools are pretty solid for tracking down vulnerabilities, and I like how it lays out the info without making it super complicated. Took me a bit to get used to the interface, but once I did, it made scanning way easier. Definitely saved me some headaches with identifying weak spots I didn’t catch before. Wish it was a bit faster on some scans though.

Better scans and smoother integration

Switched from Qualys and Rapid7 to Tenable because its vulnerability scanning felt more thorough and the interface was easier to navigate. The integration with our existing tools was smoother, though the pricing can be a bit steep.

Clean, actionable vulnerability scans

Tried Qualys and Rapid7 before, but Tenable felt way more intuitive when setting up scans and interpreting results. The dashboard is cleaner and the vulnerability insights seemed more actionable for my team.

Solid scanning and reports

The vulnerability scanning feature is exactly what we needed to keep our systems secure without bogging down performance. I also appreciate the clear reporting, which makes it easy to understand where we stand, though the dashboard could be a bit more intuitive.

Helped with vulnerability tracking

Our IT team was constantly overwhelmed trying to keep track of vulnerabilities across hundreds of devices, and Tenable helped us get a clearer picture of our risk exposure with its scans. It was especially useful in identifying some tricky network misconfigurations we hadn't spotted before. That said, the reporting interface can be clunky and sometimes slow, which made digging into details more frustrating than it needed to be.

Cut Through Vulnerability Chaos

Our security team was constantly overwhelmed trying to keep track of vulnerabilities across dozens of servers, which made prioritizing fixes a nightmare. Tenable's dashboard gave us real-time visibility and clear risk scores that helped us focus on the most critical issues first. This tool cut our response time down significantly and made vulnerability management way less stressful overall. There were some quirks with the reporting setup, but nothing that got in the way of actually solving the problem.

Solid and Improving Over Time

Been with Tenable for over 4 years now and I've seen it improve quite a bit, especially in how it handles scanning speed and reporting accuracy. The interface has gotten friendlier, though sometimes I wish the alerts were a bit smarter to cut down on noise. Overall, it's a solid tool that’s only gotten better in my day-to-day use.

Reliable and Improving Over Time

Started using this about 4 years ago and honestly it’s gotten way better with all the updates. The scans are more accurate now and the interface feels less clunky than before. Sometimes the alerts can be a bit much, but overall it’s been solid for keeping an eye on vulnerabilities.

Cleared Up Vulnerability Chaos

Our team was drowning in trying to track vulnerabilities across multiple cloud environments, and we kept missing critical patches. Tenable helped us get a clear, consolidated view of all our assets, making it way easier to prioritize what needed immediate attention. The insights were spot-on, and it saved us a lot of time hunting down issues manually. Still, the setup took a bit longer than I expected, but once running, it’s been a solid help.

Good value for security insights

Tenable is a bit on the pricey side, but in my experience, the insights it provides have helped catch issues early enough to save us from costly fixes down the road. Definitely worth the investment if security is a priority for your team.
