Solid vulnerability scanner

Tenable’s pretty solid for spotting vulnerabilities, and the reports are easy to understand. Took me a bit to set up, but once it’s running, it’s smooth sailing.

Solid tool for team security

Our team of eight started using Tenable last year after the boss pushed for better vulnerability tracking. Getting everyone on board was smoother than expected since the interface is straightforward, and it’s been a big help in keeping our security discussions grounded in real data. Collaboration improved too because we can all see and comment on the same issues in one place.

Solid tool for vulnerability scans

Tenable’s pretty solid for what I need, especially when it comes to spotting vulnerabilities quickly. I like how the scans don’t take forever and the reports are easy to understand without digging through a ton of tech jargon. Sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky, but nothing that slows me down too much. Overall, a reliable tool that gets the job done without too much hassle.

Does the job, kinda slow

Had a chance to mess around with Tenable for a few weeks and it's... okay I guess. It does catch most of the usual security stuff, but sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky and slow. Would’ve loved some better customization options too, but overall it gets the job done when you need a quick vulnerability check. Nothing mind-blowing, but not a total waste either.

Solid choice for vulnerability scanning

Compared Tenable to Qualys and Rapid7 during our security tool evaluation, and Tenable stood out mainly because of its straightforward vulnerability scanning and detailed reporting. Qualys felt a bit overwhelming with the interface, and Rapid7 lacked some of the depth in asset discovery that we needed. Tenable’s dashboard made it easy to prioritize risks and track remediation progress without too much setup hassle. The one snag was that the pricing can get steep as you scale, but overall it fit our needs better than the others.

Worth the investment overall

The pricing felt a bit steep at first, but after seeing how much time and risk it helped us avoid, it’s definitely paid for itself. For smaller teams, it’s a solid investment because you’re getting detailed insights that would otherwise require more hands-on effort. I can see how larger organizations might find the cost adds up, but the overall return in terms of security confidence makes it worth it in my experience.

Difficult adoption and confusing features

Our team of six was forced to switch to Tenable by management, but getting everyone to actually use it was a nightmare. The interface is confusing, and the features don’t really fit how we work, which slowed down collaboration instead of helping. Honestly, it felt like more of a burden than a useful tool for the whole department.

Solid for security scans

Tenable’s been pretty solid for spotting vulnerabilities on my network. Occasionally the scans take longer than I want, but overall it catches stuff I wouldn’t have noticed. Definitely worth a shot if you wanna stay on top of security without too much hassle.
