Great time-off tracking
The time-off tracking is exactly what we needed—super easy to manage and really clear for employees. The reporting feature works well but could be a bit more flexible for custom metrics.

Smooth and straightforward HR tool
Switched from Gusto and also tried Workday, but BambooHR felt way more intuitive for managing employee records and time off. The interface is clean and simple, though sometimes the reporting tools can be a bit clunky.

Improved time-off tracking
Our HR team was drowning in manual time-off tracking and constant errors with spreadsheets, which slowed everything down. BambooHR helped by automating leave requests and approvals, making it way easier to see who’s out and when without chasing people for updates. That said, the reporting features aren't as flexible as I'd hoped, and some integrations felt clunky, so it didn’t completely solve all our workflow issues.

Improved steadily over time
Started using BambooHR about five years ago, and I’ve seen it improve consistently, especially with their reporting features and mobile app. It feels like they actually listen to user feedback, which makes managing our team a lot smoother over time. Still wish the onboarding process was a bit more customizable, but overall it’s been reliable and user-friendly.

Great time-off tracking
The time-off tracking feature is exactly what we needed to keep everything organized without any hassle. The reporting tools are useful but could be a bit more intuitive for first-time users.

Good value for efficiency
The pricing felt a bit steep at first, but the time saved and fewer HR headaches made it worth the cost for our team.

Mixed feelings on setup
Getting BambooHR set up was a bit of a mixed bag. Some parts, like adding employee info, were straightforward and quick, but other aspects, especially configuring certain workflows and integrations, took longer than expected and required a lot of trial and error. The onboarding materials helped somewhat, but there definitely was a learning curve, especially for team members who aren’t super tech-savvy. Overall, it wasn’t a nightmare, but I wouldn’t call it seamless either.

Easier Reporting Than Gusto
Switched from Gusto to BambooHR because the reporting features are way easier to use and customize. Had a quick learning curve but overall it’s made tracking employee info much simpler for our small team.

Gets the basics done
This tool does cover the basics alright, like tracking time off and storing employee info. But sometimes it feels a bit clunky and slow, which gets annoying when you’re on a deadline. Overall, not terrible but kinda leaves you wanting a bit more smoothness.

Clunky and lacking features
We tried BambooHR after using Gusto and Zoho People, hoping it would be more intuitive. Honestly, the interface felt clunky and some features like reporting were way less flexible than what we got with Zoho. Gusto had better payroll integration, which was a big miss here. If ease of use and robust features are your priority, BambooHR might frustrate you as much as it did me.
