Solid for team collaboration

Our team of about 15 started using Box last year to manage all our project files and streamline collaboration. Getting everyone on board took a bit of time since some were used to email attachments, but once we had shared folders set up, it really improved how quickly we could access and update files. The comment and version control features have been especially helpful for keeping feedback organized without losing track of changes. Overall, it’s made teamwork smoother, though occasionally the sync can be a little slow when large files are involved.

Cleared Up File Chaos

Our team was drowning in file version confusion until we started using Box. Being able to track changes and control access in one place really cleared up the chaos and saved us a ton of time.

Decent, but a bit pricey

Box offers solid features for cloud storage, but the pricing feels a bit steep, especially if you’re not using all the advanced tools. For smaller teams, it might be a stretch depending on budget, but for us, the ease of collaboration made it somewhat justifiable. That said, I’m still weighing whether the cost truly matches the value given some limitations in customization. Overall, it’s decent but I wouldn’t say it’s the best bang for the buck out there.

Does the job, kinda slow

Box works fine for storing files and sharing with others, but sometimes it feels a bit slow and clunky. Not bad if you just need basic stuff done, but don’t expect anything fancy or super smooth.

Reliable but clunky over time

Setup was a bit rough

Getting started with Box was a bit of a mixed bag. The initial setup was pretty quick, but figuring out some of the settings took longer than I expected and the onboarding docs weren't super clear.

Setup was a total headache

The setup was way more complicated than it should be, and the onboarding barely explained anything. Spent hours just trying to figure out basic features with no real guidance.

Solid for team collaboration

I tried Google Drive and Dropbox before settling on Box, mainly because of its stronger file-sharing controls and better collaboration features for larger teams. While Dropbox felt simpler, Box’s integration with other business apps made it easier to keep everything organized without juggling multiple tools. The interface isn’t the most intuitive at first, but once you get the hang of it, it really shines for managing complex projects.

Great file sharing, meh search

The file sharing feature is exactly what we needed for quick collaboration with my team, super easy to use and reliable. The only thing that's a bit annoying is the search function—it sometimes misses files or takes longer than expected to find them.
