Good for quick sharing
I gave CloudApp a try after using Loom and Snagit, mainly because I wanted something a bit simpler for quick screen recordings and sharing. While CloudApp’s interface is clean and uploading clips is straightforward, I found the annotation tools less flexible compared to Snagit. Also, the occasional lag during longer recordings was annoying. That said, I liked how easy it was to generate shareable links without fiddling with settings every time.

Reliable and improving constantly
Started using CloudApp about three years ago, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. The interface has become much smoother, and the new features like screen recording and GIF creation have really helped me communicate more clearly with my team. I appreciate how quick the app is to update without losing its simplicity. After all this time, it still feels like an essential part of my daily workflow.

Handy recording but clunky annotations
The screen recording feature is really handy and easy to use, but I find the screenshot annotation tools a bit clunky and limited for quick edits. Sometimes the tool just lags when adding arrows or text, which can be frustrating.

Smooth and quick setup
Getting CloudApp up and running was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guided me through the basics quickly, and I had it working on my computer in under 10 minutes. There was a slight learning curve with some of the advanced features, but nothing too frustrating.

Handy tool for quick shares
CloudApp's been a solid go-to for quick screenshots and screen recordings at work. I like how easy it is to grab a clip and share it without jumping through hoops. Sometimes the uploading can be a bit slow, but overall it saves me time and hassle. Definitely makes explaining stuff over chat way simpler.

Great for quick team sharing
Our team of about 12 started using CloudApp last year mainly for quick screen recordings and sharing visuals during remote meetings. Getting everyone to adopt it wasn’t too hard since it really cut down on long emails trying to explain issues. The boss pushed for it after a few communication mix-ups, and honestly it’s made collaboration smoother, especially when we need to highlight bugs or design tweaks. Sometimes the app can lag a bit with bigger files, but overall it’s been a solid addition to how we work together.

Great annotation, shaky video
The screenshot annotation tool is exactly what I needed for quick feedback, but the video recording sometimes glitches and cuts off early. Still really useful overall though.

Great for quick team feedback
Our team of about 12 started using CloudApp a few months ago, and it really helped speed up how we share quick feedback with screenshots and screen recordings. Getting everyone on board was smooth since it’s simple to use, though a couple of folks wished for better integration with some of our other tools.

Solid and improving tool
Started using this around three years ago and it's definitely improved, especially with quicker uploads and better sharing options. It still occasionally struggles with large files, but overall it's become a reliable part of my workflow.

Solid tool that keeps improving
After a few years with CloudApp, I've seen it get smoother and more reliable—screenshots and quick video shares have become part of my daily flow. Wish the organization of clips was a bit easier, but overall it’s been a solid tool.
