Worth the investment overall

The pricing for CloudApp initially felt a bit steep for my small team, but after a few months, the time saved on sharing visuals and quick feedback has made it worth every penny. It's clear that the ROI is there if you rely on fast communication, especially when dealing with clients remotely. For what we get—easy screen recording, GIF creation, and quick annotation—it delivers great value overall. Just wish there were a few more flexible plan options for smaller budgets.

Streamlined feedback sharing

We kept losing track of quick feedback because screenshots and notes were scattered. CloudApp made it easy to capture and share exactly what we needed in seconds, which saved a ton of back-and-forth emails.

Reliable and improving tool

Started using CloudApp about 3 years ago, and it’s definitely gotten better since then. The screen recording features have improved a lot, and the interface feels smoother and less buggy than before. I rely on it daily for quick sharing, and though it’s mostly seamless, sometimes uploading slows down for me unexpectedly. Overall, it’s become a solid tool in my workflow and I’m glad they keep adding useful updates.

Easy and quick sharing

CloudApp's super easy to use and makes sharing stuff way quicker than emailing screenshots back and forth. I love how I can just drag and drop files, plus the GIF recording is a game changer for quick demos. The only thing is sometimes the upload speed lags a bit, but honestly, it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, solid app that saves me a bunch of hassle during work.

Solid and improving tool

Started using this a few years ago and have really seen it improve, especially with the ease of sharing and faster uploads. Still occasionally wish the editing tools were a bit more flexible, but overall it’s been reliable and keeps getting better.

Smooth and quick setup

Setup was super quick and the onboarding guides helped a lot. Took me under 15 minutes to get everything running, though I did hit a minor snag with permissions at first.

Hard to get team on board

Our team of 8 tried moving to CloudApp, but getting everyone to actually use it was a pain. Features felt limited and a few people just gave up, which slowed down collaboration more than it helped.

Great for Visual Collaboration

Our team of about 12 started using CloudApp a few months ago to speed up how we share feedback and updates on design work. Getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected since the interface is pretty intuitive, and the ability to quickly record short videos or annotate screenshots really helped cut down on long email chains. The collaboration feels more natural now — especially when someone can just drop a quick visual note instead of typing out long explanations. The only hiccup has been occasional glitches with video uploads, but overall it’s been a solid addition to our workflow.

Fast and simple screen capture

I tried both Loom and Snagit before settling on CloudApp, mainly because it lets me quickly capture and share screenshots and videos without a lot of fuss. Compared to Loom, CloudApp feels more streamlined for quick annotations right after capture, which saves me time during team reviews. Snagit has some powerful editing features but felt a bit too heavy for daily use. CloudApp’s balance of speed and ease made it my go-to, though I wish the free plan had a few more features.

Great for quick team collaboration

Our team of about 12 switched to CloudApp after our manager pushed for a tool to simplify sharing quick updates and feedback. Getting everyone on board was smoother than expected since it cuts down on long emails and meetings. It really helped speed up collaboration, especially when reviewing designs or explaining bugs with video clips.
