Great screen recording tool

The screen recording feature is super straightforward and makes sharing quick updates way easier. I also like the GIF creation tool, though sometimes the quality drops a bit when converting longer clips. Overall, it saves me a lot of time when explaining things to the team.

Great screen recording, okay annotations

The screen recording feature is exactly what I needed for quick tutorials—it’s straightforward and the quality is consistently sharp. I also really like the way CloudApp handles GIF creation; it’s super easy to trim and share short clips without hassle. However, the annotation tools could use some improvement, as they sometimes feel a bit clunky when trying to highlight details precisely.

Reliable tool that keeps improving

Started using CloudApp about three years ago, and it’s definitely come a long way since then. The screen recording quality has improved noticeably, and I love how easy it is to share clips with my team without jumping through hoops. Sometimes the uploading speed can be a bit slow, especially with larger files, but overall it’s been a solid tool for daily use. I’ve seen features get added that actually make my workflow smoother, so I’m happy sticking with it.

Solid tool for quick sharing

Switched from Loom after hitting some upload limits, and CloudApp felt smoother for quick sharing. Compared it to Snagit too, but CloudApp's annotation tools were easier to use on the fly.

Good value for frequent users

For what CloudApp offers, the pricing feels fair, especially if you use it regularly for sharing quick screenshots and videos. I found that even though it's a bit on the pricier side compared to some free tools, the time saved and ease of use more than make up for it. For small teams like mine, it’s definitely a smart investment because the ROI shows up in smoother communication and faster feedback cycles. If you only need it occasionally, it might feel like more than you need, but for daily users, it’s worth every penny.

Quick and painless setup

The setup process was surprisingly smooth, and I had CloudApp up and running in less than 15 minutes. The onboarding materials were clear without feeling overwhelming, which made the initial learning curve much easier than I expected. I especially appreciated how intuitive the interface felt right away, so I didn't have to spend ages figuring out the basics. Overall, it was a quick and painless experience from start to finish.

Mixed feelings on adoption

Our team of about 12 started using CloudApp because the manager wanted a better way to share quick screenshots and videos. Some people picked it up right away, but others found it clunky and didn’t use it consistently, which made collaboration a bit uneven.
