Mixed feelings on setup

Setup was kinda all over the place—some parts were quick to figure out, but others took way longer than I expected and felt confusing. Took me a few tries to get everything running smoothly, so not the best onboarding experience.

Great invoicing, shaky app

The invoicing feature is really straightforward and saved me a lot of time, but the mobile app can be glitchy and sometimes crashes when I try to log expenses on the go.

Invoicing is great, time tracking less so

The invoicing feature in FreshBooks is really solid and easy to customize, which saved me a lot of time sending out bills. However, the time tracking tool feels a bit clunky and isn’t as intuitive as I hoped, making it harder to keep accurate records during busy days. Overall, it gets the job done but could use some polish on the user experience side.

Good invoicing, time tracking lags

The invoicing feature is exactly what we needed and super easy to customize. However, the time tracking feels clunky and sometimes lags when switching between tasks, which throws off my workflow a bit.

Reliable and Improving Over Time

Started using FreshBooks about five years ago, and it’s definitely grown on me. The interface has gotten smoother and some of the new features have made invoicing and tracking expenses way easier. Still wish the reporting was a bit more customizable, but overall it’s been solid for my small business needs.

Great for team invoicing

Our team of six switched to FreshBooks last year mainly for invoicing and tracking billable hours. Getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected, though a couple of folks struggled with the mobile app at first. We really appreciate how easy it is to collaborate on client projects and see updates in real time, which saves us from a lot of back-and-forth emails. Overall, it’s helped keep things organized, but it could use a bit more customization in reporting.

Good invoicing, clunky reports

Tried QuickBooks first but switched to FreshBooks because the invoicing felt simpler. That said, sometimes the reports can be a bit confusing and I wish the mobile app was smoother.

Good time tracking, clunky invoicing

The time tracking feature is really handy for keeping tabs on billable hours, but the invoicing setup can be a bit clunky and not as straightforward as I'd hoped.
