Catches issues like a champ

Tenable's been solid for spotting vulnerabilities around my network. Setup took a bit longer than I hoped, but once it was running, it caught stuff I didn’t even know was there. Definitely helps me sleep better at night.

Effective scanning with room to improve reporting

The vulnerability scanning feature is exactly what we needed to keep our network secure without too much manual effort. I also really appreciate how Tenable's dashboard makes it easy to prioritize risks based on severity, which saves a lot of time during assessments. That said, the reporting section could be more customizable to better fit our specific audit requirements.

Setup took longer than expected

The initial setup was a bit bumpy and took longer than I expected, but once it was up and running, the onboarding materials helped smooth things out. Still, there’s a noticeable learning curve getting comfortable with all the features.

Mixed feelings on Tenable

Our team of about eight people started using Tenable after management pushed for better vulnerability scanning. Getting everyone on board was a bit rough since some were used to other tools and found the interface unintuitive at first. Collaboration-wise, it helped having centralized reports that everyone could access, but sometimes the alerts felt overwhelming and not always accurate, which led to some frustration. Overall, it’s useful but definitely feels like it needs more customization to fit our workflow better.

Mixed feelings from the team

Our team of about 8 started using Tenable because the boss pushed it, but getting everyone to actually use it was kinda rough. Some folks found it helpful for spotting issues quickly, but others thought the interface was confusing and it slowed down our workflow a bit.

Solid security tool

Tenable’s pretty solid at spotting security issues, and the interface isn’t a headache to use. Wish the scans were a bit faster though.

Worth the investment overall

Honestly, Tenable feels a bit pricey at first glance, especially if you’re running a small setup. But after using it for a few months, the insights and risk reduction it provides have definitely made it worth the cost. The ROI becomes clear when you consider the time saved on manual checks and the confidence it gives in security posture. For what it offers, I’d say it’s a solid investment if you need reliable vulnerability management.

Worth the investment overall

Tenable feels a bit pricey at first glance, especially for smaller setups, but honestly it pays for itself once you see how much time it saves on vulnerability management. The ROI has been solid for our team because it helps catch issues before they snowball into bigger problems. I do wish the pricing tiers were a little more flexible, but overall, it’s great value for the level of insight and control it provides.

Worth the cost for security

Tenable isn’t the cheapest solution out there, but in my experience, it’s worth the cost. The insights it provides have helped us avoid some pretty costly security issues, so the ROI feels solid. For what you get, especially if security is a priority, it’s a smart investment.

Smooth setup, easy onboarding

Setup was surprisingly smooth and I had it running in about an hour. The onboarding materials were clear and helped me get the hang of things quickly, though there were a couple spots where I wished the instructions were a bit clearer. Overall, not much of a learning curve once you dive in.
