Solid all-in-one HR tool

Tried Gusto and BambooHR before settling on Zenefits. Zenefits stood out with its all-in-one platform that handled payroll and benefits seamlessly, which BambooHR didn’t do as well. The only downside is that some features can be a bit glitchy at times, but overall it’s been reliable and saved me a lot of hassle.

Worth the cost overall

Zenefits is a bit pricey upfront, but honestly it saved me a ton of hassle and paid for itself within months. For what it does, it's great value, especially for a small team like mine.

Smooth HR, minor app issues

Our team of about 15 switched to Zenefits last quarter after the boss pushed for a better way to handle HR stuff. Getting everyone on board was a bit tricky at first since some folks don’t like new systems, but once we got the hang of it, it really smoothed out payroll and benefits tracking. Collaboration improved because now managers can easily approve time off right in the app, which wasn't as seamless before. The only downside is that the mobile app can be a little glitchy sometimes, but overall it's made life easier for the whole team.

Benefits and Payroll Win

The benefits administration feature is exactly what we needed to simplify enrolling employees—super straightforward and saves a ton of time. Payroll integration also works great, though sometimes the setup took a bit longer than expected.

Used to be better

Been with Zenefits for over five years, and honestly, it’s gone downhill. Features that used to work smoothly now feel clunky or buggy, and customer support has gotten worse. After so long, I expected more stability and improvements, but it’s just been frustrating lately.

Smooth team transition

Our team of about 12 switched to Zenefits a few months ago, and getting everyone on board was surprisingly smooth since the interface is pretty straightforward. It’s made managing benefits and time off way easier, and having everything in one place really helped with collaboration between HR and managers.

Better fit for small teams

Switched from Gusto after dealing with their limited customization options, and Zenefits just fits our needs better. I also looked at BambooHR but found Zenefits' all-in-one approach for benefits and payroll way more convenient for our small team. The onboarding process was smooth, and the dashboard keeps everything straightforward without a learning curve.

Benefits and Payroll Simplified

The benefits administration feature is exactly what we needed to simplify open enrollment. It saved us so much time by automating the whole process and keeping employee info organized in one place. I also really appreciate the payroll integration—it’s seamless and cut down errors significantly during pay runs. Honestly, these two features have made managing HR tasks way less stressful for our small team.

Saved Us Hours Weekly

We were drowning in payroll headaches and benefits admin that took hours each week. Zenefits streamlined everything into one place, making it way easier to handle employee onboarding and benefits enrollment without jumping between different systems. The automated reminders and integrations saved us so much time and honestly reduced mistakes we kept making before. It just made managing HR stuff feel less overwhelming for the whole team.

Simple and effective HR tool

Switched from Gusto and compared it to BambooHR before landing on Zenefits, mainly because its benefits management feels more intuitive for our small team. The interface is straightforward, though sometimes reporting can get a bit clunky.
