Smooth team adoption overall

Our team of eight switched to Zoho Books a few months ago, and getting everyone comfortable was smoother than expected. The collaboration features really helped our finance and sales teams stay on the same page without constant back-and-forth emails.

Simple and effective accounting

I switched from QuickBooks to Zoho Books mainly because I wanted something more affordable and easier to navigate. Zoho's interface feels cleaner, and their automation for recurring invoices saved me a lot of time. While it’s not as feature-heavy as FreshBooks, it hits the sweet spot for my small business needs without overwhelming me.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting started with Zoho Books was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guided me through most of the setup in under an hour, which felt pretty efficient given all the features I needed to configure. There was a slight learning curve with some of the tax settings, but the tooltips and help articles made it manageable. Overall, I had it up and running quickly without any major headaches.

Best for small business accounting

I initially tried QuickBooks and Wave before settling on Zoho Books, and what really stood out was how seamlessly it handled both invoicing and expense tracking without feeling cluttered. Unlike QuickBooks, Zoho's interface is cleaner and less overwhelming, which made onboarding the whole team much easier. Wave seemed like a free alternative, but it lacked the depth in report customization that we needed. Zoho Books just struck the right balance between being powerful and user-friendly for our small business needs.
