Great automation, weak email editor
The automation builder is really intuitive and saved me a lot of time setting up complex workflows without needing to code. However, the email template editor feels a bit clunky and outdated, which made designing beautiful emails more frustrating than it should be. I wish they would improve the drag-and-drop experience to be more user-friendly and modern. Overall, it has good features but some areas definitely need polish.

Great Automation, Clunky Reports
The automation builder in ActiveCampaign is exactly what we needed to streamline our email marketing workflows. It's pretty intuitive and lets you set up complex sequences without too much hassle. However, the reporting dashboard feels a bit clunky and could be more user-friendly when digging into campaign performance. Overall, it gets the job done but could use some polish on analytics.

Mixed feelings on setup
Getting started with ActiveCampaign was a bit of a mixed bag. The initial onboarding emails were helpful, but setting up some of the automation took longer than I expected—definitely not as straightforward as I hoped. On the bright side, importing contacts and creating basic campaigns was quick and painless. Still, there was a noticeable learning curve when trying to use some of the more advanced features without diving into their help docs.

Solid automation tool
ActiveCampaign’s email automation is pretty solid and makes life easier when juggling campaigns. Took a bit to get the hang of the interface but once you do, it flows nicely. Wish the pricing was a tad more straightforward though.

Great for team collaboration
Our team of 8 started using ActiveCampaign a few months ago, and once everyone got the hang of it, collaboration became way smoother. Getting all departments synced took some time, but now we’re all on the same page with automations and tracking.

Flexible and powerful automation
Switched from Mailchimp after struggling with their automation limits, and ActiveCampaign felt way more flexible for the kind of complex workflows I needed. I also looked at HubSpot, but their pricing got out of hand pretty fast. ActiveCampaign strikes a good balance between powerful features and cost, especially with its tagging system and email personalization.

Great for team email workflows
Our team of eight switched to ActiveCampaign a few months ago after the boss insisted we find something better for managing email sequences and client follow-ups. Getting everyone on board took a couple of weeks, but once they saw how it helped streamline our workflow, collaboration improved noticeably—especially when sharing campaign results. It's made keeping track of leads way easier, though the learning curve for some features was a bit steeper than expected.

Solved email automation chaos
We were drowning in trying to keep our email campaigns organized and personalized for different customer segments. ActiveCampaign made it way easier by automating those workflows and letting us target users based on behavior without a ton of manual work.

Decent but Could Improve
Started using this about 4 years ago and while the automation features have gotten better, the interface feels slower and a bit clunky now. Customer support was hit or miss for me, which gets frustrating.

Improved Over Time
Been with them for over 3 years now, and the platform has definitely gotten smoother and more intuitive. The automation tools have expanded nicely, making campaign management much easier than when I started.
