Solid tool for email flows

ActiveCampaign’s automation stuff is actually pretty solid — made setting up email flows way easier than I thought it’d be. The interface took a little getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, I could customize campaigns without much fuss. Sometimes it feels a bit slow loading, but overall it’s reliable and does what I need for managing contacts and sending out emails.

Steady improvements over time

Started using ActiveCampaign about 4 years ago and it’s honestly gotten better with every update. The automation features have grown so much, making it easier to tailor campaigns without needing to dive into complex setups. Sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky or slow, but overall it handles everything I throw at it pretty well. Definitely a solid tool that’s improved noticeably since I first signed up.

Saved Time with Automation

Our small ecommerce team was drowning in managing follow-up emails and segmenting customers by behavior, which was getting overwhelming fast. ActiveCampaign made it way easier to automate those sequences based on purchase history and site activity, saving us tons of time and improving engagement. The learning curve took a bit, but once set up, it’s been a solid game-changer for keeping customers connected without manual work.

Steady improvements over time

Started using this about five years ago, and it’s definitely gotten smoother and more intuitive over time. The automation options have improved a lot, making my campaigns easier to manage without feeling overwhelmed.

Great for team collaboration

Our team of about 10 people started using ActiveCampaign a few months ago after management pushed for a more integrated email and CRM tool. Getting everyone comfortable with the platform took a bit longer than expected since some folks preferred simpler tools, but once we got the hang of the automation features, collaboration improved a lot. It’s streamlined how we track leads and share campaign insights across departments, which has been a real time-saver. The only downside is that the learning curve can be steep for those not super tech-savvy.

Decent features, a bit pricey

ActiveCampaign offers a solid set of features, but the pricing feels a bit steep, especially for smaller businesses like mine. While the automation tools have helped improve my email marketing ROI somewhat, I’m not fully convinced it’s worth the monthly cost compared to some cheaper alternatives. The learning curve also means you might spend extra time figuring things out before seeing real value. Overall, it’s decent if you need advanced features, but I wish it offered more flexible pricing for smaller teams.

Good value for small teams

The pricing felt a bit steep at first, but once I got the hang of the automation features, it really started to pay off for my campaigns. Definitely great value for small teams who want solid email marketing without endless headaches. Might be overkill if you're just starting out though.

Good but a bit tricky

Switched from Mailchimp and Keap, and liked how ActiveCampaign mixes automation with CRM features. However, it can get a bit clunky and the learning curve was steeper than I expected.

Helped With Automation Hassles

Our team was drowning in managing email sequences and tracking customer engagement manually, which was slowing everything down. ActiveCampaign helped by automating those follow-ups and giving us clearer insights into who was interacting with our emails, which saved a ton of time. That said, the learning curve was steeper than I expected, and some of the interface felt clunky, especially when setting up complex automations. Overall, it helped with the core problem but definitely left room for improvement in usability.

Solved Segmentation Nightmare

Our email list was a mess with no proper segmentation, which made targeting impossible. ActiveCampaign’s automation helped me set up smart tags and tailored sequences that finally got our open rates up and saved hours every week.
