Mixed feelings on adoption
Our team of eight started using ActiveCampaign last quarter, and while some folks picked it up quickly, others found the interface confusing which slowed down adoption. Collaboration features are okay but not as intuitive as we hoped, so it’s been a bit of a mixed bag overall.

Great automation without the hassle
I tried Mailchimp and HubSpot before landing on ActiveCampaign, and what really sold me was the automation flexibility. HubSpot felt too overwhelming and expensive for what I needed, while Mailchimp lacked some of the deeper segmentation options that I rely on. ActiveCampaign strikes a nice balance with powerful features but still feels approachable, especially when setting up email sequences and tracking engagement. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it’s been smooth sailing for managing campaigns.

Great automation, meh reports
The automation builder is super intuitive and really helps streamline our email campaigns. However, the reporting dashboard could use a bit more customization to fit our needs better.

Setup was a mixed bag
Getting started was kinda hit or miss — the onboarding was helpful but the setup took longer than I expected and some parts weren’t super intuitive. Took me a couple hours to feel comfortable with it.

Decent but pricey overall
ActiveCampaign is decent for what it offers, but I feel like the pricing gets a bit steep once you start adding more contacts. For small teams, it’s okay value, but if you’re not using all the automation features, you might not get your money’s worth. The ROI was alright for us, though I expected more given the cost. Also, the pricing tiers can be confusing, which made budgeting a little tricky.

Solid platform with steady improvements
After using ActiveCampaign for over three years, I’ve noticed steady improvements that make the platform easier to navigate and more reliable. The automation features have become more intuitive, which really helps save time on managing campaigns. While it wasn’t perfect at the start, their customer support has grown much more responsive and helpful. Overall, it’s become a solid tool that fits well into my workflow without too much hassle.

Solid email tool overall
ActiveCampaign’s been a solid find for managing my email lists and automations. Setting up sequences took a bit longer than I thought, but once I got the hang of it, stuff ran pretty smooth. The interface isn’t the flashiest, but it gets the job done and has all the options I need without feeling too overwhelming. Only thing is, sometimes the reporting feels a bit clunky and not super intuitive.

Decent tools but pricey
The pricing feels a bit steep for smaller businesses, and some features I expected to be standard were add-ons. Still, the automation tools can save time, so if you use them well, it might balance out.

Smooth team transition
Our team of six switched over to ActiveCampaign last quarter, and getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected. It really helped streamline how we share campaign insights and track progress together.

Great automation, clunky reporting
The automation builder is honestly pretty solid and lets me set up most campaigns without much hassle. However, the reporting dashboard feels a bit clunky and sometimes takes forever to load, which can be super frustrating when I just want quick insights.
