Flexible and user-friendly tool
I gave Airtable a shot after trying Notion and Smartsheet, and it really stood out for how flexible and user-friendly the spreadsheet-database combo feels. Notion was great for notes but lacked the robust data organization I needed, while Smartsheet felt a bit too rigid and clunky for quick setups. Airtable strikes a nice balance, especially with its customizable views and easy automation options that saved me a lot of time on routine tasks. The only downside is that some advanced features get pricey, but for the most part, it’s been a solid fit for managing projects without feeling overwhelming.

Good grid view, weak automation
The grid view is really intuitive and makes organizing data straightforward, which I appreciate for managing projects. However, the automation feature feels a bit clunky and limited—setting up complex workflows required a lot of trial and error. Overall, it's useful for small-scale tasks, but I found myself frustrated when trying to scale up or customize beyond the basics.

Great linked records, calendar needs work
The way Airtable handles linked records has been a total game changer for keeping related data connected without feeling cluttered. I especially like how easy it is to create relationships between tables, which makes managing complex projects way less painful. On the flip side, the calendar view could use some improvements—it works fine but feels a bit limited compared to other tools I've tried. Overall, it’s a solid platform that fits well for team collaboration and data organization.

Improved with time
Started using this about five years ago, and it’s come a long way since then. The interface has gotten cleaner and some of the automation features really help keep things running smoothly.

Good value for small teams
For what Airtable offers, the pricing feels fair, especially for small teams juggling multiple projects. While it’s not the cheapest tool out there, the time saved organizing data and collaborating makes it a smart investment. I’ve noticed that the flexible templates and automation features really boost productivity, which justifies the cost for me. That said, if you’re just looking for a simple spreadsheet, it might be a bit more than you need.

Decent but a bit pricey
The pricing feels a bit steep if you’re just starting out or using Airtable casually. For what I get, it’s decent value, especially if you rely on the automation features, but small teams might find it hard to justify the cost. Overall, it’s okay but I wish there were more flexible pricing options.

Great for team collaboration
Our team of about 10 started using Airtable to keep track of ongoing projects and deadlines. Getting everyone to switch wasn’t too painful since the interface is pretty intuitive, and it’s been great for collaboration since we can all update and comment in real time. The only hiccup is sometimes the views can get a bit cluttered when too many fields are added.

Reliable and Improving Over Time
Started using Airtable about four years ago, and it’s been a solid tool for organizing projects and collaborating with my team. Over time, the interface has become more intuitive, and the new automation features have made repetitive tasks much easier to handle. That said, sometimes it feels like the mobile app is a step behind the desktop version in terms of functionality. Overall, it’s definitely improved and remains a key part of how we stay organized.

Setup was frustratingly complex
Getting started with Airtable was way more confusing than I expected. The onboarding didn’t really explain the basics clearly, and I spent hours just trying to figure out how to set up a simple base. Definitely not the smoothest setup experience.

Great for team collaboration
Our team of about 12 started using Airtable a few months ago to keep track of project deadlines and resources. Getting everyone on board wasn’t too difficult since the interface is pretty intuitive, but it did take a couple of tweaks to set up the workflows that made sense for our different roles. Collaboration improved noticeably because we all had real-time access to updates, which cut down on a lot of back-and-forth emails. The only downside is that sometimes the automations can be a bit tricky to debug when they don’t behave as expected.
