Smooth and straightforward setup
Getting started with ClickUp was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding process guided me through the basics without overwhelming me, and I had a solid setup running within a couple of hours. There was a bit of a learning curve when diving into some of the more advanced features, but overall it wasn’t too steep. I appreciated how intuitive the interface felt once I got the hang of it.

Strong task management tools
The task dependencies feature really helped keep my projects on track, but the calendar view can be a bit clunky when juggling multiple deadlines.

Overpriced and underwhelming
Honestly, ClickUp feels way overpriced for what it offers. I was expecting more polish and fewer bugs given the price, but ended up spending more time fixing issues than actually managing tasks. Not the best bang for my buck, especially if you’re on a tighter budget.

Flexible and Feature-Rich Tool
Tried Trello and Asana before but ClickUp felt more flexible for the way I actually work. The ability to switch between list, board, and calendar views without much hassle really helps me keep track of everything without juggling multiple apps. The only thing that's a bit annoying is the occasional lag when switching projects, but overall it’s solid and beats the other two in terms of customization and features for the price.

Great all-in-one project tool
Switched from Asana and Trello and liked ClickUp better because it lets me customize views and manage docs all in one place without juggling tabs. The interface took a bit to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, it really sped up how I organize tasks.

Setup took some time
The initial setup was a bit overwhelming and took a couple of hours to get everything organized the way I wanted. Onboarding materials helped, but there’s definitely a learning curve before things click.

Mixed feelings on setup
Getting started with ClickUp was a bit of a mixed bag. The initial onboarding tutorial was helpful, but setting up the workspace took longer than I expected because some features felt unintuitive at first. I was able to get the basics running in a couple of hours, but there was definitely a learning curve when trying to customize things the way I wanted. Overall, it wasn’t a nightmare, but it wasn’t exactly quick or seamless either.

Feature-rich but cluttered
Tried Asana and Trello before, but ClickUp felt overwhelming with all its features. I liked how customizable it is, but sometimes it’s just too much to navigate for day-to-day tasks.

Great for team collaboration
Our team of about 12 people started using ClickUp when our manager decided to centralize project tracking. Getting everyone to fully adopt it took a couple of weeks because some folks preferred sticking to email or Google Docs, but once they saw how easy it was to assign tasks and check progress, most got on board. Collaboration definitely improved, especially with the comment threads and file sharing built right into tasks. Overall, it helped keep everyone on the same page, though sometimes the interface feels a bit overwhelming with all the features packed in.

Good features, iffy mobile app
The task dependencies feature really helped keep my projects organized and on track, which was a big plus. On the other hand, the mobile app can be frustrating sometimes, especially with syncing delays that slow down quick updates on the go.
