Good tools but pricey

Drift’s pricing felt a bit steep for what we actually used it for, especially since our team is on the smaller side. While the tools are solid and helped us connect with prospects faster, I’m not sure the return justified the cost yet. It’s great if you have the budget and need quick engagement features, but for us, it’s a bit pricey and some parts we didn’t really tap into. Overall, decent value but I’d like to see more flexibility in the pricing tiers.

Great for team collaboration

Our team of about 15 started using Drift last quarter, and getting everyone on board took a couple of weeks but it really improved how we handle customer questions in real time. It’s made collaboration smoother, especially between sales and support, though sometimes the notifications can get a bit overwhelming.

Better workflow customization

Tried Intercom and HubSpot chat before, but Drift felt more intuitive and less clunky when setting up automated workflows. The ability to customize conversations without diving into complicated coding really stood out. The only downside is the occasional lag during high traffic times, but overall it’s made handling leads way smoother.

Helped with quick replies

Our team was drowning in missed customer questions during peak hours, which made us look unprofessional. Drift helped by automating instant replies and routing chats to the right people quickly, cutting our response time drastically. That said, the setup was a bit confusing at first and some customizations felt limited, so it wasn’t a perfect fit for all our workflows. Still, it definitely eased the immediate pressure on our support team.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting Drift up and running was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding materials walked me through the key steps without feeling overwhelming, and I had the main chat widget active on our site within about 30 minutes. There was a slight learning curve around customizing some of the automated responses, but nothing too frustrating. Overall, the setup felt intuitive and didn’t slow down our launch timeline.

Ended missed chats problem

We were drowning in missed customer questions because our old system buried chat requests in email threads. Drift put all those conversations in one place and sent real-time alerts, so now nothing slips through the cracks and our response time has improved a lot.

Best for lead qualification

Smooth and User-Friendly Chat Tool

Switched from Intercom to Drift mainly because of its simpler setup and more intuitive chat customization. Great for team communication
