Good for simple setups
I gave Ecwid a shot after trying Shopify and BigCommerce, mostly because it seemed simpler to set up for a small site. Setting it up was straightforward and I liked how it integrates smoothly with existing websites, but I found the customization options a bit limited compared to Shopify. Also, some features require upgrades that felt pricey for what you get. Overall, it's decent for getting started but lacks some polish on the more advanced stuff.

Easy integration, great inventory control
We were struggling to integrate a simple, clean online store into our existing website without totally overhauling everything. Ecwid made it really easy to embed the store seamlessly, and the setup process was straightforward, even for someone without much tech experience like me. It solved the problem of managing inventory across multiple sales channels in one place, which saved us a ton of time. The only snag was some limitations in customizing the checkout experience, but overall it worked exactly as we needed.

Easy store embed, but limited tweaks
We were struggling to add a quick online store to our existing website without rebuilding everything from scratch. Ecwid made it surprisingly simple to embed a store widget and start selling right away, which saved us a lot of time. That said, the customization options felt kinda limited, and sometimes the email notifications didn’t trigger correctly. It helped fix the main problem, but I wish it offered more flexibility on the backend.

Simple and effective platform
Ecwid's been pretty solid for setting up my small shop without a ton of hassle. Loved how easy it was to get my products online and I didn’t have to mess with complicated stuff. The mobile app could be a bit smoother, but overall it handles payments and shipping well enough for my needs. Definitely feels like a good deal for what it offers.

Great catalog, checkout limited
The product catalog feature made organizing my inventory super easy, and the mobile app worked smoothly for managing orders on the go. However, I found the checkout customization a bit limited for my needs.

Reliable and improving platform
Started using this over 4 years ago and it’s definitely gotten smoother and more reliable. Some features took a while to get right, but overall it’s been a solid tool that keeps improving without too many headaches.

Great catalog, clunky mobile app
The product catalog management in Ecwid really helped me organize items quickly without a steep learning curve. Setting up variations and pricing was straightforward and saved me a lot of time. However, the mobile app for managing orders could be more intuitive—sometimes it feels a bit clunky when trying to update statuses on the go. Overall, it’s been a solid tool for keeping my small store running smoothly.

Smooth team adoption overall
Our team of eight started using Ecwid to manage our online store, and getting everyone to switch over was surprisingly smooth. The interface is simple enough that even those less tech-savvy caught on quickly, which really helped keep collaboration flowing without hiccups. The only hiccup we've had is occasional lag during peak hours, but overall it’s made coordinating sales and inventory easier across departments.

Improved Over Time
Started using this platform about five years ago, and it's definitely come a long way since then. They've added features that actually make managing my store easier without overcomplicating things. The interface feels smoother now, though sometimes customizations can still be a bit limited.

Easy integration, flexible pricing
Tried Shopify and BigCommerce before, but Ecwid stood out because it was way easier to integrate into my existing site without starting from scratch. The setup was straightforward, and the pricing felt more flexible for my small store.
