Better clarity in session replays

Switched from Hotjar to FullStory after struggling with session replay accuracy, and the difference is clear. FullStory captures more detailed interactions without lag, which really helps understand user behavior better. It’s a bit pricier, but the clarity and insights make it worth it.

Decent but a bit clunky

It’s alright for tracking user sessions, but the interface can feel a bit clunky and slow sometimes.

Helped Fix Checkout Dropoffs

Our team was drowning in understanding why users kept dropping off during checkout, which was hurting our conversion rates badly. FullStory’s session replay and heatmap tools let us pinpoint exactly where users hesitated or clicked the wrong buttons, which was a game changer. After addressing those exact pain points, our checkout completion rate improved noticeably within weeks. It didn’t solve every issue, but it definitely gave us clear insight we didn’t have before.

Mixed feelings on adoption

Our team of about 10 started using FullStory after management pushed for it, but getting everyone to actually adopt it was a slow process. Some folks find it helpful for understanding user behavior, but others think it's a bit clunky and not always worth the extra effort during busy times.

Great session replay tool

I tried Hotjar and Crazy Egg before landing on FullStory, and I found this one offers a much smoother way to dig into user sessions without feeling overwhelmed. The replay features are detailed but still easy to navigate, which helped me spot issues quicker than the others. I especially appreciated how the search and filtering tools made it simpler to pinpoint sessions with errors. The only downside is that it can get pricey as your traffic grows, but the insights have been worth it so far.

Solved checkout dropoff mystery

Our team was drowning in trying to figure out why users kept dropping off during checkout, and it was a mess piecing together logs and analytics. FullStory let us actually watch real user sessions, which made it obvious that a button was getting hidden on certain browsers, causing confusion. Being able to see the exact moments users struggled saved us a ton of time and frustration, and we fixed the issue within days. It’s not perfect—sometimes the playback isn’t super smooth—but overall, it nailed the problem we had.

Great for team collaboration

Our team of about 8 started using FullStory a few months ago to better understand user pain points during testing. Getting everyone on board was smoother than expected since it really helped with collaboration between devs and product managers. The only hiccup is that sometimes the session replays lag a bit, but overall it’s been a solid addition to our workflow.

Session Replay Shines

The session replay feature really helped us pinpoint where users get stuck, which is exactly what we needed. The search filters are handy but could be more intuitive to use.

Great replays but search needs work

The session replay feature really helps us understand user behavior in detail, which is exactly what we needed. However, the search functionality can be glitchy and sometimes makes it hard to find specific events quickly, which gets frustrating during crunch time.

Helpful for spotting user issues

Our team was drowning in figuring out where users got stuck during checkout, and FullStory helped us pinpoint the exact moments causing confusion. It made troubleshooting easier, but the interface can be clunky and slow at times.
