Great merge requests, tricky pipelines

The merge request feature makes code reviews super straightforward and keeps everyone on the same page, which really helps our team flow. The CI/CD pipelines are solid and mostly reliable, though sometimes the setup can get a bit confusing for more complex workflows.

Solid all-in-one platform

I like how GitLab keeps everything in one place – from code to CI/CD, it just clicks together nicely. Sometimes the UI feels a bit clunky, but overall it’s smooth enough for what I need daily.

Streamlined our code collaboration

Our team was drowning in messy merge conflicts and lack of visibility across multiple repos, which really slowed down development. GitLab's integrated CI/CD pipelines and built-in code review tools made it way easier to track changes and catch issues early. Setting up automated tests and deployments saved us hours every week, and now merges happen smoothly without the usual headaches. It honestly transformed how we collaborate on code and sped up our release cycle more than I expected.

Merge Requests & CI/CD Win

The merge request system in GitLab is exactly what we needed for keeping our team in sync. I love how easy it is to review code and leave comments inline—makes collaboration way smoother. The CI/CD pipelines also work great and save us tons of time, though sometimes the pipeline logs can be a bit cluttered and hard to navigate quickly. Overall, these features make pushing code less stressful for our whole team.

Keeps improving over time

Started using this about 5 years ago and it just keeps getting better. The CI/CD tools have improved a ton, and the interface feels smoother every update—only wish the issue tracker was a bit faster sometimes.

Great all-in-one Dev tool

Switched from GitHub and Bitbucket and found GitLab's built-in CI/CD pipelines much easier to set up without juggling multiple integrations. The interface takes a bit to get used to, but once you’re in, managing code and deployments feels smoother and more integrated than the others I tried.

CI/CD and Reviews Shine

The CI/CD pipelines in GitLab save me tons of time, and setting them up was surprisingly straightforward. The merge request reviews are smooth too, though sometimes the UI feels a bit cluttered when there’s a lot of comments.
