Smooth setup with minor hurdles
Getting GitLab up and running was surprisingly smooth, took me about an hour including some trial and error. The onboarding materials helped a lot, though there's a bit of a learning curve with advanced features.

Solid and Improving Tool
Started using this about five years ago, and it's definitely improved a lot, especially with CI/CD and interface tweaks. It’s reliable for our projects, though occasionally the UI can feel a bit cluttered when managing multiple repos.

Super smooth project tool
GitLab’s been a total lifesaver for managing my projects. The built-in CI/CD stuff is super easy to set up and actually works without a ton of headaches. Honestly, it just makes collaborating way smoother than I expected.

Solved our merge chaos
Our small dev team was constantly tripping over merge conflicts and losing track of code reviews, which slowed down our release cycles. GitLab’s integrated CI/CD pipelines and built-in merge request system made it way easier to manage code changes and automatically test before merging. The visibility it gave us into who was working on what, plus the seamless issue tracking, really cleaned up our workflow. Since switching, we've cut down on bugs slipping into production and feel more confident pushing updates faster.

Good value despite cost
The pricing can feel a bit high at first, but the time saved on DevOps and the integrated features really make it worth the cost for our team.

Reliable and improving steadily
Started using GitLab about 4 years ago, and it’s honestly grown a lot since then. The interface has gotten smoother, and the CI/CD pipelines are way more reliable now than when I first started. I do wish the issue tracking could be a bit more intuitive sometimes, but overall it’s been solid for managing my projects. The fact that they keep adding useful features without making it overly complicated has really kept me around.

Solid for teamwork and reviews
Our team of about 8 started using GitLab last year after our boss pushed for a more integrated tool. Getting everyone on board was a bit bumpy at first, especially with the merge requests, but now it's way easier to track progress and collaborate on code reviews all in one place. We do wish the interface was a bit more intuitive though.

Quick and smooth setup
Getting GitLab up and running was surprisingly quick—I had the main features set within a couple of hours without much hassle. The onboarding materials were clear enough to help me jump straight into managing projects without a steep learning curve.

Smooth collaboration boost
Our team of about 12 switched over to GitLab a few months ago after our manager pushed for a more integrated tool. Getting everyone on board was a bit rough at first since some folks were used to other platforms, but the built-in CI/CD and issue tracking really helped us work more smoothly together. I’ve noticed fewer miscommunications on merge requests and the ability to comment inline has made code reviews way easier. The only downside is the occasional sluggishness during peak hours, but overall, it’s been a solid switch for us.

CI/CD pipelines are lifesavers
The CI/CD pipelines have saved me tons of time, they just work seamlessly without much setup. The issue tracking is solid too, though sometimes the notifications can be a bit overwhelming.
