Smooth and Streamlined Workflow
Love how everything's in one place, super easy to track progress and manage code without jumping around. The CI/CD setup took me a bit to get used to but now it’s smooth sailing. Definitely makes teamwork way less of a headache.

Solid value for small teams
For what I pay, GitLab offers solid value, especially for smaller teams like ours who need an all-in-one platform without juggling multiple tools. The pricing felt a bit steep at first, but considering how much time it saves on CI/CD and code reviews, it definitely pays for itself. Sometimes the interface can be a little overwhelming, but once you get the hang of it, the ROI is clear. Overall, I feel like the cost is justified for the range of features packed in.

Good value despite cost
GitLab feels a bit pricey at first, but honestly it saved my team a lot of time and headaches, so it’s worth the spend for us. The ROI showed up faster than I expected once we got used to it.

Gets better every year
Started using this about 5 years ago and it’s only gotten smoother and more reliable. The interface keeps improving and the built-in CI/CD has saved me tons of time, though sometimes the UI can be a bit overwhelming at first.

Consistent improvements over time
Started using GitLab about five years ago, and honestly, it keeps getting better with every update. The interface has become much cleaner and more intuitive, which makes managing CI/CD pipelines a lot easier than it used to be. I've also noticed improvements in collaboration features, especially with merge requests and issue tracking, which really help our team stay on the same page. The only downside is that sometimes the documentation can lag behind the latest features, which can be a bit frustrating.

Too complicated and clunky
Switched from GitHub and Bitbucket expecting a smoother workflow, but GitLab felt clunky and overly complicated. The interface wasn’t intuitive, and it often took longer to get simple tasks done. For straightforward repo management, GitHub still feels way easier to navigate.

Still improving after years
Started using this about 5 years ago and it's honestly only gotten better. The CI/CD pipelines have become way more reliable and they've added tons of useful features without making it confusing. Sometimes the UI feels a bit cluttered, but overall it’s been solid for managing all my projects.

Quick and painless setup
Getting GitLab up and running was way smoother than I expected. The setup took me about an hour, mostly because I wanted to customize some settings, but the initial install and basic onboarding felt super straightforward. The learning curve wasn’t steep at all, especially with all the helpful docs and in-app tips. I did hit a tiny snag with SSH keys at first, but that was quickly fixed with a bit of Googling.

Solid all-in-one Dev platform
Switched from GitHub after struggling with some of their pricing tiers, and GitLab’s all-in-one approach really won me over. I also looked at Bitbucket, but found GitLab’s CI/CD integration smoother and more reliable for our deployment needs. The interface took a little getting used to, but the ability to manage everything from code to pipelines in one place saved us a ton of time. Overall, it felt like a more complete solution for our team’s workflow.

Strong all-in-one platform
Compared GitLab to GitHub and Bitbucket before settling on it for our team’s workflow. GitLab’s integrated CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking feel more streamlined than the others, which saved us a lot of time setting up separate tools. The UI takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, managing repos and deployments is smoother. I especially appreciate how the self-hosting option gave us more control compared to GitHub’s cloud-only setup.
