Solid tool for team workflow

Our team of about 8 switched to GitLab a few months ago after the boss pushed for better integration across projects. It took a bit for everyone to get used to the interface, but now collaboration feels smoother and merging code is less of a headache. The only annoying thing is sometimes the CI pipelines take longer than expected.

Solid tool for team collaboration

Our team of about 8 switched to GitLab a few months ago, and once everyone got the hang of the interface, collaboration improved a lot. The built-in CI/CD pipelines really helped streamline our workflow, though getting some of the less tech-savvy folks fully comfortable took a bit longer than expected.

Smooth and quick setup

Getting GitLab up and running was way easier than I expected. The onboarding felt pretty smooth and I had the basics down in less than an hour, even though I’m not super technical. There were a couple spots where the docs could be clearer, but overall no big issues.

Smooth switch, better teamwork

Our team of about 12 switched to GitLab last year, and getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected. The integrated CI/CD pipelines have really cut down on back-and-forth, and I love how easy it is to track issues alongside the code. Collaboration feels more natural now, especially with merge requests and inline comments.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting GitLab up and running was smoother than I expected. The initial setup took about an hour, mostly because I took my time exploring the options, but the onboarding guides really helped me avoid major roadblocks. The interface is pretty intuitive, so the learning curve wasn’t too steep, even for someone not deeply familiar with DevOps tools. Overall, it felt like a solid balance between power and ease of use.

Reliable and constantly improving

Started using GitLab over 5 years ago and it’s only gotten smoother and more feature-rich since then. The CI/CD integration has saved my team so much time, and the interface feels more intuitive with every update.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting GitLab up and running was surprisingly smooth for me. The onboarding materials made the initial setup clear, and I had it working within a couple hours. There was a slight learning curve with some of the advanced features, but nothing too overwhelming.

Finally streamlined our workflow

Our team was constantly losing track of merge requests and code reviews before we started using GitLab. With its integrated CI/CD and clear merge request dashboard, we finally got a handle on our workflow and cut down on delays significantly.

Smooth Merge Requests & CI/CD

The merge request workflow is exactly what we needed to streamline code reviews across our team. I love how easy it is to leave inline comments and track changes without losing context. The CI/CD pipelines also work great—setting them up was straightforward, and they're reliable enough that we rarely have to troubleshoot failures. Overall, these features have made collaboration much smoother and saved us a lot of time.
