Convenient but clunky interface
Switched to Heap after trying Mixpanel and Amplitude, mainly because Heap’s automatic event tracking felt less tedious to set up. That said, its UI sometimes feels a bit clunky and I found the data accuracy isn't always consistent, which was frustrating. Overall, it’s decent if you want less manual setup, but I’m not sure it’s worth the tradeoffs yet.

Great for quick insights
Tried Mixpanel and Amplitude before but Heap's automatic event tracking saved me a ton of setup time. It's not perfect—sometimes the data feels a bit overwhelming—but overall it's been easier to get actionable insights quickly.

Simplified tracking insights
We were drowning in user data but couldn’t figure out what actions led to conversions. Heap made it easy to track user behavior without messy setups, so now I can see exactly which features boost engagement.

Great tracking, dashboard shines
The automatic event tracking is exactly what we needed to get insights without extra setup. The user-friendly dashboard makes it easy to dig into data, though sometimes the filters feel a bit limited.

Setup was a headache
Getting Heap up and running was way more complicated than I expected, and the onboarding docs didn’t clear things up much. Ended up spending way too long just trying to figure out the basics.

Improved but a bit cluttered
Started using this about three years ago and it’s definitely gotten smoother and more intuitive. The tracking has improved a lot, though sometimes the interface can feel a bit cluttered.

Handy and easy to use
Heap’s been pretty solid for digging into user data without much hassle. Took me a bit to figure out some features, but once I got it down, it saved a bunch of time. Definitely a handy tool for quick insights.
