Simplified payroll and benefits

Managing payroll and benefits for our growing remote team used to be a nightmare with spreadsheets and scattered info. Namely streamlined everything into one place, making it way easier to track employee data and run payroll without missing a step. It’s saved me a ton of time and headaches, though I wish the mobile app was a bit smoother.

Solved PTO tracking issues

Our HR team was drowning in tracking PTO and benefits info manually, which caused a lot of errors and confusion. Namely made it way easier to keep everything updated and share clear info with employees, which saved us tons of time. The interface took a bit to get used to, but once we did, things ran much smoother.

Reliable and Improving Over Time

Started using Namely about 4 years ago and have seen it improve a lot since then. The platform feels more intuitive now, especially with how payroll and benefits are handled, which used to be a bit clunky. Support has gotten better too, though sometimes responses can be slow during busy periods. Overall, it's been a solid tool that adapts pretty well to our growing team’s needs.

Good value for the cost

Namely is a bit pricey compared to some other platforms, but honestly, it’s been worth the investment for what we get. The features save us a ton of time on payroll and HR tasks, which feels like a good return on the cost. For small to mid-sized teams, it provides solid value, though I could see it being overkill if you don’t need all the bells and whistles. The occasional glitches can be annoying, but nothing deal-breaking given the overall benefit.

Solid HR tool for teams

Our team of about 12 started using Namely last quarter after management pushed for a better HR tool. Getting everyone to actually log in took a couple weeks, but now it’s pretty smooth and helps keep all our info in one place. Collaboration on benefits and time off requests is way easier now.

Smooth setup with minor quirks

Getting Namely up and running was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding team was helpful and walked me through most of the setup within a couple of days. There was a slight learning curve with some of the reporting features, but overall I had it working well for payroll and benefits in less than a week. The only hiccup was figuring out how to customize some fields, which wasn’t super intuitive at first.

Payroll and Self-Service Shine

The payroll feature in Namely is exactly what we needed—it’s straightforward and handles complex tax calculations without any hiccups. I also really appreciate the employee self-service portal; it makes updating personal information and viewing pay stubs super easy for everyone on our team. Overall, it’s made managing HR tasks way less stressful.

Worth the cost

Pricing felt a bit steep at first, but the time saved on HR tasks has definitely made it worth it. For the size of our team, the return on investment is clear.

Started using this a few years ago and it’s definitely improved in terms of user interface and reporting features. It’s reliable for managing payroll and HR, though some updates take a bit to get used to.
