Flexible and Customizable Workspace

I tried Evernote and Trello before settling on Notion, and the flexibility here really stood out. Unlike Trello’s rigid board setup or Evernote’s note-only focus, Notion lets me mix databases, docs, and tasks all in one place, which fits how I actually work. It took a bit to get used to, but now I appreciate how customizable everything is without feeling overwhelming.

Organized my chaotic projects

Managing multiple projects always left me scattered and missing deadlines. Notion helped me create a central hub where I track tasks, deadlines, and notes all in one place, which honestly saved me a ton of stress. Sometimes it takes a bit of tweaking to get it just right, but once I set it up for my workflow, things just clicked.

Great for team collaboration

Our team of about 12 switched to Notion a few months ago, and it really helped us keep track of projects and share notes in one place. Getting everyone on board took a couple of weeks, but once they saw how easy it was to collaborate, it stuck.

Finally Organized Projects

Juggling multiple project notes and to-dos felt impossible until I started using Notion to centralize everything—now I actually stay organized and on top of deadlines.

Used to love it, now slow

Started using Notion about three years ago when it felt like a fresh, flexible tool for organizing everything. Over time, though, it’s become slower and more bloated, especially with big pages, which really kills productivity for me. Features that used to work smoothly now lag or glitch, and the constant UI changes make it harder to find what I need quickly. Honestly, it feels like the app has lost its focus and I’m considering switching to something leaner.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting started with Notion was surprisingly smooth—I had my main workspace set up in under 30 minutes thanks to clear prompts during onboarding. There’s a bit of a learning curve with all the customization options, but the templates helped me get the hang of it quickly.

Really handy and flexible

Been messing around with Notion for a bit and honestly, it’s super handy for keeping all my notes and projects in one spot. Sometimes it gets a bit slow loading big pages tho, but overall it’s a solid tool that actually helps me stay organized.

Great for team organization

Our team of about 10 started using Notion to keep all project notes and tasks in one place, and it really helped us stay aligned. Getting everyone on board took a couple of weeks since some prefer simpler tools, but once the basics were set up, collaboration felt much smoother. The flexibility to customize pages has been a big plus for different workflows within the group.

Flexible and improving steadily

Started using this about four years ago, and it’s come a long way since the early days. What I appreciate most is how flexible it is—I've been able to tweak my setup as my needs changed without feeling locked in. The recent improvements in performance and collaboration tools have definitely made my workflow smoother. Occasionally, the mobile app can still be a bit slow, but overall it's been a reliable part of my day-to-day.

Disappointing over time

Started using this about four years ago and at first, it felt like a game-changer for organizing my work and personal projects. Lately, though, it’s gotten slower and more bloated, with updates that seem to add flashy features instead of improving core functionality. Honestly, it’s frustrating how much it’s declined over time when I really wanted it to get better.
