Good value for data work
Power BI isn’t the cheapest option out there, but for the insights and reporting it delivers, it’s definitely worth the investment. Our team saw a noticeable boost in efficiency, so the return on what we paid felt solid. For small to mid-sized teams looking to get serious about data, it offers great value without breaking the bank.

Great drill-through, slow refresh
The drill-through feature in Power BI has been a lifesaver for diving deep into data without cluttering my main reports. It makes exploring different dimensions really intuitive. However, the data refresh speed could use some improvement, especially when working with larger datasets, as it sometimes slows down my workflow.

Worth the investment overall
Power BI’s pricing felt a bit steep at first, especially compared to some other tools I looked at. But after a few months, the level of insight we gained from our data made it clear that the cost was justified. For small teams like ours, it’s a solid investment that pays off by saving time on reports and helping us spot trends faster. The ROI became evident pretty quickly once we started using the dashboards regularly.

Worth the cost overall
The pricing felt a bit steep at first, but once you factor in the time saved and insights gained, it definitely pays for itself. For what it offers, it’s great value especially if you’re serious about data analysis.

Solid and improving tool
Started using this around 5 years ago and gotta say it keeps getting better. Some updates felt a bit clunky at times, but overall it's been a solid tool for my data needs.

Great balance of power and ease
I gave Power BI a shot after trying Tableau and Google Data Studio. While Tableau felt way too complex and costly for what I needed, and Google Data Studio was a bit too basic for deeper analysis, Power BI hit a sweet spot with its flexibility and integration with Excel, which I use all the time. The learning curve was manageable, though sometimes the interface feels cluttered. Overall, it’s a solid tool that works well for mid-sized projects, but I wish it was a bit more intuitive in places.

Practical and flexible choice
I initially tried Tableau and Google Data Studio, but Power BI stood out because of how tightly it integrates with other Microsoft tools we already use, like Excel and Teams. The learning curve was a bit steep at first, but once I got the hang of its DAX formulas, building custom reports became way more flexible than with Google Data Studio. Compared to Tableau, Power BI feels more cost-effective for my team and gets most of the job done without needing extra plugins. That said, the interface can get cluttered when you’re working with really complex datasets, which sometimes slows me down.

Saved Us From Excel Chaos
Our team was drowning in messy Excel reports and struggling to get a clear picture of sales trends across regions. Power BI helped us pull all that data together in one dashboard that updates automatically, so now we spot issues and opportunities way faster than before.

Mixed feelings on Power BI
Our team of about 8 started using Power BI last year, but getting everyone on board was a bit slow since some prefer Excel or Google Sheets. Collaboration is okay, but sharing reports can get clunky sometimes, especially when folks don’t update their dashboards properly.

Saved me from Excel chaos
We were drowning in messy Excel reports that took forever to update, but Power BI let me automate data pulls and create live dashboards that finally made sense of everything. It still trips me up sometimes with formula quirks, but overall it saved me tons of time.
