Difficult to Adopt and Use

Our team of eight was pushed to switch over to Xero by management last quarter, and honestly, getting everyone on board was tougher than expected. The interface felt confusing for some, especially when it came to tracking invoices and reconciling accounts, which slowed down our usual workflow. Collaboration suffered a bit because not all features synced smoothly between departments, leading to a lot of back-and-forth emails. Overall, it felt like we spent more time troubleshooting than actually using the tool effectively.

Reliable and improving steadily

Started using this about 5 years ago, and it's definitely gotten smoother and more intuitive over time. I especially like how the mobile app has improved, making it easier to handle invoices on the go. Sometimes the reporting features can feel a bit clunky, but overall it's been a solid tool for managing my small business finances.

Simpler and Cleaner Accounting

Switched from QuickBooks and FreshBooks, and Xero just clicks better for my small business. The interface feels cleaner and managing invoices is way less of a headache.

Good value for the price

The pricing is a bit on the higher side for what I use, but honestly, the time it saves me on bookkeeping makes it worth it. Definitely good value if you need solid accounting features without hiring extra help.

Invoicing is a breeze

The invoicing feature makes billing clients super easy and professional-looking, but I wish the reporting tools were a bit more customizable for deeper insights.

Worth the extra cost

Xero costs a bit more than some other options, but for the ease of use and features we actually use, it’s been worth it. Definitely paid off by saving time on bookkeeping, though the higher tier plans can feel a bit much if you’re just starting out.

Worth the extra cost

Xero costs a bit more than I expected, but honestly it’s worth it for how much time it saves me on bookkeeping. The invoices and bank reconciliation features alone have made the subscription pay for itself in no time. For small businesses like mine, it's a solid investment even if the price feels a little steep at first.

Great bank reconciliation

The bank reconciliation feature is really smooth and saves me a ton of time every month. However, I wish the reporting tools were a bit more customizable to fit our specific needs.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Setting up Xero was surprisingly straightforward. The onboarding guides were clear and helped me get the basics running without much hassle. It took me a couple of hours to feel comfortable navigating the dashboard and linking my bank accounts, which felt reasonable given the features available. Overall, the learning curve wasn’t too steep, and support was helpful when I had questions.

Clean and User-Friendly Accounting

Switched from QuickBooks to Xero because the interface felt way more straightforward and less cluttered. Compared it to Wave as well, but Xero’s bank reconciliation tools just made my life easier. The only thing is sometimes it glitches when importing large files, but overall it’s been solid for managing my small biz finances.
