Reliable but a bit pricey
Zoom’s free plan works well for quick calls, but once you need longer meetings or more participants, the price jumps up and it starts to feel a bit steep. For small teams it’s okay, but I’ve found myself questioning if the cost really matches the features we actually use. Still, it’s reliable enough that I don’t mind paying, even if it’s not the best bang for the buck.

Great for quick team chats
Our team of about 12 started using Zoom last year and it really helped with remote check-ins and quick brainstorming sessions. Getting everyone on board was a bit slow at first, but once we all got used to it, collaboration became much smoother.

Solid screen sharing and breakout rooms
The screen sharing feature works great for walking through presentations, and I love how easy it is to switch between different presenters. The breakout rooms are helpful, but sometimes the audio cuts out briefly during transitions.

Decent but glitchy over time
Started using this about 4 years ago and while it's gotten better with new features, there’s still occasional lag and random disconnects that can be frustrating during important calls.

Helped with quick team chats
Our remote team was constantly missing out on clear communication during quick check-ins, which wasted a lot of time. Zoom helped by making video calls easy to start and join for everyone, even those who aren’t tech-savvy. That said, the occasional connection issues and the confusing UI for scheduling meetings still slow us down sometimes.

Great for team collaboration
Our team of about 12 people quickly adapted to Zoom after our manager insisted we switch from in-person meetings. It was a bit of a learning curve at first, especially for some of the less tech-savvy folks, but overall it helped us stay connected and keep projects moving without constant emails. The breakout rooms are a lifesaver during brainstorming sessions, and screen sharing makes collaboration much smoother. That said, occasional connectivity hiccups can disrupt flow, which is the main reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

Simplified remote team meetings
Trying to coordinate meetings with a remote team across different time zones was a constant headache until we started using Zoom. The scheduling features and reliable video quality made our weekly check-ins way smoother and saved us a ton of back-and-forth emails.

Quick and simple setup
Setup was pretty smooth and I had it running in about 10 minutes. The onboarding helped a lot, though figuring out some settings took a little longer than expected.

Reliable and improving steadily
Been with Zoom for over 4 years now, and it’s definitely gotten smoother and more reliable over time. What started as a simple video chat tool has grown into something much more versatile, and I appreciate the added features without losing the ease of use. Occasionally, I still run into minor connectivity hiccups, but overall it’s become a solid part of my daily workflow.

Reliable with fair pricing
Zoom offers solid value, especially for smaller teams that need reliable video calls without breaking the bank. The free tier is generous, but once you hit the limits, the paid plans feel a bit pricey compared to some competitors. Still, the ease of use and stability mean it pays for itself by saving frustration and time during meetings. For my work, that return on investment makes it worth every penny.
