Good but a bit pricey

The pricing feels a bit steep for what you actually get, especially when you're just starting out. It’s decent value if you’re growing fast, but I found some features unnecessary and wish there were cheaper tiers with fewer bells and whistles.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting started with ActiveCampaign was smoother than I expected. The onboarding emails were clear and helped me set up the basics without much hassle. It took me a couple of hours to feel comfortable navigating the automation tools, but the learning curve wasn’t too steep overall. Having it up and running quickly made the whole process feel worth the effort.

Automation but clunky UI

Tried Mailchimp and ConvertKit before but went with ActiveCampaign hoping for better automation. Honestly, it felt clunky and slow, plus the UI wasn’t very intuitive. Mailchimp’s ease of use and ConvertKit’s tagging felt better for what I needed.

Solid email automation tool

ActiveCampaign's automation tools are pretty solid and easy enough to mess around with, even if you're not super techy. I like how it handles email sequences without much hassle, and the reporting is actually helpful for once. Sometimes the interface feels a bit cluttered, but nothing too annoying. Overall, it’s done exactly what I needed it to do for my small biz.

Setup was a mixed bag

Getting started wasn't too bad, took me a couple of hours to get everything set up the way I wanted, but some parts of the interface felt confusing and slowed me down more than I expected.

Great automation, contact scoring quirks

The automation builder is exactly what we needed to streamline our email campaigns without a steep learning curve. The contact scoring feature is helpful, but sometimes it feels a bit inconsistent with how it tracks engagement.

Automation made easy

ActiveCampaign’s automation stuff is really solid and saved me a ton of time. Took a bit to figure out all the features, but once you get it, it’s smooth sailing. Wish the pricing was a little simpler though.

Saved Our Email Workflow

We were drowning in manual email follow-ups and inconsistent customer tagging, which made our outreach chaotic. ActiveCampaign helped automate those sequences and organize contacts with tags, saving us a lot of time and confusion. That said, the learning curve was steep, and sometimes the interface felt clunky when trying to set up more complex automations.

Automation and segmentation shine

The automation builder is really intuitive and has saved me a ton of time setting up email flows. I also like the segmentation options, which make targeting the right audience much easier, though sometimes the reporting dashboard feels a bit clunky to navigate.

Great automation, weak reporting

The automation builder is exactly what I needed for setting up complex email sequences, and it's pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it. However, the reporting feature feels lacking — I often find myself wishing for more detailed insights without having to dig around or export data. Also, the interface can be a bit clunky at times, which slows me down when I’m trying to move fast. Overall, it’s useful but definitely has room for improvement.
