Great for automation, a bit clunky
Switched from Mailchimp after struggling with their automation limits, and ActiveCampaign gave me more flexibility with workflows. That said, the interface feels cluttered compared to ConvertKit, which I found much simpler to navigate. Overall, it hits the mark for complex campaigns but can be overwhelming if you just want something straightforward.

Features Declined Over Time
Been with them since 2017, and honestly, the platform feels more complicated and glitchy than it used to. Features I relied on have changed or disappeared, and support hasn’t been very helpful when issues pop up. After years of sticking with it, I’m seriously considering switching to something more reliable.

Worth the extra cost
ActiveCampaign is a bit pricey compared to some tools I tried, but the automated features really helped boost my email engagement, so it's worth the spend in my book.

Mixed feelings in the team
Our team of 8 started using ActiveCampaign for email marketing, but getting everyone to actually use it was kinda rough. Some folks liked the automation features, but others found the interface confusing, so collaboration wasn’t as smooth as we hoped.

Good automation, clunky reporting
The email automation builder is definitely the highlight for me—it’s flexible and lets me set up complex sequences without too much hassle. That said, the reporting dashboard feels a bit clunky and not very intuitive, which makes it harder to get a quick snapshot of how campaigns are performing. I also found the learning curve steeper than I expected, especially when trying to navigate some of the more advanced features. Overall, it does the job but could use some polish to make it more user-friendly.

Smooth setup, minor learning curve
The onboarding process was straightforward, and I had the core features up and running within a couple of hours. There was a slight learning curve with some of the automation tools, but the tutorials helped a lot. Overall, setup was smooth and didn’t feel overwhelming.

Solid email marketing tool
ActiveCampaign makes managing email campaigns way easier than I expected. The automation setup took a bit to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, it saved me a ton of time. The reporting tools are solid too, so I can actually see what’s working and what’s not. Overall, not perfect but definitely worth it for what I need.

Smooth setup with minor quirks
Getting everything set up with ActiveCampaign was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guided me through the basics quickly, and I had a simple campaign running within a couple hours. There was a small hiccup with the email template editor that took a bit to figure out, but overall the learning curve wasn’t too steep.

Reliable and improving platform
Started using ActiveCampaign about five years ago, and it’s definitely come a long way since then. The automation features have become much more intuitive, which has saved me a ton of time managing email sequences. Occasionally the interface feels a bit cluttered, but overall it’s grown into a solid tool that adapts well as my needs have changed. I appreciate how the support team has also stepped up over time, making it easier to troubleshoot issues quickly.

Solid and improving over time
Started using ActiveCampaign about five years ago, and it’s definitely come a long way since then. The automation options used to feel a bit basic, but now they’re really powerful and flexible, which has made my campaigns much smoother to manage. The interface took a bit of time to get used to, but updates over the years have made it more intuitive. Overall, it’s been a solid tool that’s only gotten better with time.
